No, you can not get pregnant while on the pill when you have the condition of PCOS, I have had it for many years so I do know and I am a nurse. First of all PCOS causes infertility , you do not ovulate or when you do ovulate your egg becomes encapsulated with in a sac hence the term polycystic. Even if you have PCOS and have regular or irregular cycles, chances are you are not ovulating. Taking birth control does not enhance ovulation, the purpose is to stop it.
However, if you want to have a baby, talk to your doctor about Clomid. It does work for many people, I have had 3 children with the aid of clomid--YOu can also see and endocrinologist, who may prescribe metformin (glucophage) this medication helps people with PCOS have regular periods and sometimes even ovulate.

Hey I am 22 I also have had PCOS for a long time. I know what you are going through I never have a period I sometime go a yr without one lol. And Yes I have gained weight but you just have to learn how to eat right and exercise and you should be good. My husband and I have been trying for almost 3 yrs now tried a lot of med with my fertility dr and they all gave me great eggs and took a shot called ovidrel to ovulate but never became pregnant. So I am going to a good dr in mexico for ivf in july. But you maybe be way different yes we do have a hard time getting pregnant but we are all different. I would find a dr and go try some clomid see if that works out for you first. And I know how you are feeling I have been very depressed even when I see other prego women out in public. But just go see a dr can't know until you have tried a few times. Also I do not know if these really work or not I have just heard sooo many success stories about these vitamins and my friends cusion got prego on them and she has fertility problems they are called geritol you can find them in walmart. I am taking them now just for the hell of it to see if they work. Also when having intercourse try putting your legs up for like 10 Min's after he and you are done and putting a pillow under your booty is known to help the sperm swim to your cervix faster. Good Luck and baby dust to you!!!!

Not until the you are off the pill. I mean you CAN get pregnant on the pill but it's not likely as it's made to do the opposite. I had to take a bc pill to regulate my periods at one point because they were lasting 2-3 weeks and all sorts of other issues. My dr set me on a course of bc pills for 6 months and when it was over, my body kinda figured it out and now I have normal periods.

Yes, but the chances are pretty low. I got pregnant on the pill, so it's possible. If you are really looking at the idea of having kids, talk to your doctor about the best steps to take. They will get you on a schedule and make sure all your other problems are dealt with before pregnancy occurs.

Are you asking if its a possibility? Then yes. Lots of women end up pregnant while using birth control. Most of the time though, its due to improper usage, but there is that rare "I took all my pills and never missed." Best of luck to you

Yes you can. My aunt had that happen to her with disasterous results. The baby was born with downs syndrom. She later passed away at the age of three. She was blind , deaf, mute.
I don't want to scare you, but any drug you take will have some adverse affect. When you take that kind of medicine, always use condoms.

Very unlikely. Are your birth control tablets combination estrogen/progestin? They inhibit ovulation 95% of the time. The also make the cervical mucous resistant to sperm penetration further making conception more difficult.
