Pregnancy - March 2007

Hello!! Asking again as I didn't get many responses... I'm trying to figure out if I might be pregnant or not! I think it's a BIT too soon to take a home pregnancy test... so here's the story. My period started Feb 19th... hubby and I had intercourse on the 28th, March 3rd, and 4th. So it's about 2 weeks from the first time and a few days ago I started experiencing very tender breasts, drowsiness, faint feelings, and just today I'm getting crampy and headachey. I woke up with the headache and my cramps have been going on and off all day... none of these are symptoms I have pre-menstrually. What do you think??

ive noticed in my family that my cousins that are very tiny (like no joke a size 4)have large babies,,,one of them had a 9 1/2 lb baby where for example i am a size 12/14 and my daughter was 6 lbs,,,im not saying anything is wrong with that but i was just woundering why that is,,is it just me or does anyone see it too??

I am going to be 18 in October and my fiancee just turned 21 in February. Our parents know we are together and that we are engaged. They also know we are sexually active. We are very happy together and do want to be with each other for the rest of our lives. We have talked about having a baby and we think we are ready. We might be wrong but put it this way, we are ready for any challenge that God desides to give us. No matter how hard it is. We have family and friends that will help us out as much as they can. We are getting finacially set, we have enough money. I am still in high school, even though people might say it is not a good time; I think it will be okay. I will and can no matter what graduate and go to college. Trust me, we have talked a lot about our lives and our future family. What do you all think? Why or not? Please be nice and leave good answers. ( I am not some stupid 17 year old, I am very mature for my age and I am a planner, I plan everything out WAY ahead of time)

I am on the pill and should get my period in 3 days. I'm a little worried I'm pregnant. Today I noticed while I was in the shower that I had a glob of eggwhite-like discharge. It was clear and very thick with some white running through it. I have never had this kind of discharge before. could that be a symptom of pregnancy?

I have had constant nausea and it is bugging the crap out of me. I have it roughly 24 hours and every smell including people's breathe makes me want to throw up. I cannot handle it anymore and don't really want to go the whole medicine route. Any suggestions?

I also have severe fatigue any suggestions on how to make this go away? I exercise and still feel tired. I do things to keep me busy and still the result is the same.

I'm pregnant with baby number two. I'm just over a month pregnant so I have no idea what I'm having, however I have a son already who will be one in a week. I wasn't planning on getting pregnant again so quickly, so I have given away a lot of his stuff. What all do I need for the new baby? I have like one trash bag of my son's clothes left, but I have alot of his toys and I plan on using them for the new baby. All of his bottles are gone, as he's on the cup now. I would need another bed for the new baby, clothes and bottles and diapers/wipes, what else is needed for a new baby? Is it unreasonable to have registry for this baby since a lot my son's stuff is gone now?

Anyone knows anyone who got Bell Palsy during their last stage of pregnancy ? A viral infection that attacks and paralyse the facial nerves. If so, I would like to know -
a) Treatment / medication taken
b) will it harm the baby
c) duration of medication/treatment
d) period of recovery
e) full recovery after delivery?
f) any other useful information about treatment / period of recovery from BP.

I got BP when I am into my initial stage of 3 trimester. It's been 6 weeks now, recovery is very slow. According to the neurologist, pregnancy could be slowing down the recovery process.

I know that it is safe to take while pregnant but just wanted to know if it was safe every night. I am 20 weeks and I cannot sleep. Tried everything.. bath, milk etc. My doctor is out of town this week. Will ask when he gets back. Please no ignorant answers, Thanks.

Ok I know what happened. I didnt know I was pregnant, just thought I was having a bad period. for 2 hours I had the worst pains/cramps and passed a bunch of blood with solid pieces in it. I went to the doctor and he said thats more than likely what happened. My blood test showed my hormones at 5 weeks pregnant. He wants me to come back in 5 more days to re-test my blood and make sure that it has dropped. The only thing that worries me is that today my lower belly feels hard and its swollen and sore. Sore probably because my jeans were too tight for whats going on. Doc said theres a chance that the levels will stay the same or go up, so then what? Can you still be pregnant after all that? Its 8 days after the incident and I am still bleeding a little but not as much.
I guess I can wait to go back to Doc on tuesday, but I'm just curious.

According to my LMP dates, I should be 8 weeks but according to scan, I show only to be around 5 weeks. A blood test done 3 days ago had my hormone levels at around 4k and today only at 5k. Dr said they should be at 8k by now so I will probably miscarry. Doing another test in three days to make sure but I'm still holding on to that last chance and possiblity that they got it wrong. I have had 2 successful pregnancies and this was my third, I have never miscarried before and never had any real problems that I knew of. I am still with the same partner so nothing was different this time except we're 2 years older. I have had no bleeding of any sort since my last LMP but I am a little crampy feeling today, just after getting the terrible news (hoping its just a subconcious thing.....)

My Best Friend recently went to the Dr. and she was told that her baby has a hole in his heart, his brain is deformed and not growing, his spinal cord is not attached to his brain, and she has cysts all over her placenta. The Dr. told her she has no choice but to terminate, it would kill her to carry for 9 months and there was no chance the baby would survive.

She is only 20 years old and wasn't ready for this baby anyway, but she is 5 months along and now that she finally has come to terms with the fact she is pregnant, she has to terminate.

I want to be there for her, but I don't really have any words of wisdom or comfort to give to her. Is there anyone out there that has gone through something similar that can help me?

She means the world to me, and I can't stand to see her hurting.

I just found out about a week ago that my brother's girlfriend (dating about 1 1/2 years now and live in apartment together across town) was pregnant... I don't really talk to either of them... In fact, I had to hear it from an ex-boyfriend (him and my brother were best friends in high school, we still see eachother once in a while).
Anyways, I came home from work the other night and found out she started bleeding and was rushed to the hospital and finally has miscarried the baby. She was only about 7 weeks or so along. Once again, I had to hear it from somebody else.

What do I say to her, better yet, my brother? We aren't that close, but I still feel so bad for them...They were so excited about it once they realized it was really happening. And now, it just disappeared...

I can't just pretend like nothing happened right? that could have been my neice or nephew, you know?

What should I say or do?

I am only 2 days late with my period,,,but I had morning sickness for 9 days except today... Today I can feel my lower abdominal (it's like cramping but itsnot _ it doesn hurt I just feel something inside.../ Could I be pregnant?
ok I took that cvs test it said negative and I heard that it can take 2 weeks for some people so I just wait... What do you think? That lower abdominal feeling? What is that?

I had to go the ER b/c I've been having pain for the last few days and was told that I'm pregnant. Tomarrow I have an ultrasound to make sure everything is okay.

I noticed today that my cervix is really tender and hurts to touch. I accidently plopped down on my chair a little while ago and started hurting extrememly bad. I had to stand up to stop hurting.

Do you think that it's something to worry about or is it common? I'm kinda worried b/c 2 years ago I miscarried. If you can help, please answer. Thank you.
