You should get your period around March 27. 28 days after the the start of your last one so don't test until the first week of april, only take a test if your period is late AND you have been sexually active. If you count 14 days after the first day that is around the time ovulation happends and you could get light bleeding around that time. It could be brown or red.

So, you have to wait until your missed period to take a hpt. for most people the time between two periods is 27 days which should put you at or around March 26. I would take the test sometime after that date and make sure to do it in the morning, they say it is more acurate when you first wake up. Hope this helps.

I would wait about another week, then go to Wal-mart and buy the generic test. Those work great and I was only 3 weeks or so when I found out I was pregnant. I had gone to an agency here that gives free tests, and it was negative, but the wal-mart brand gave me a positive test, and I am now 24 weeks along. So just to be sure I would wait another week at least and do it again. Good luck and I hope I could help.

It still could be a little early to tell with an hpt, but if you want to take one the best time of day is when you first get up the level of hormones are at its greatest then for whatever reason.

I would say about 4 weeks after a period. When in doubt see a doctor.

You could go ahead and take another one. Be sure to take it in the morning. Or, you could call your OBGYN and ask for a blood test since those are more reliable.
