i'm not sure about the fatigue, but for the nausea, i would eat crackers before bed and i kept a few next to my bed so when i woke up in the morning, i would have a few before even standing up, i had it so bad that i couldn't even stand without feeling as if my stomach dropped. that seemed to help ALOT. you should try to keep some crackers with you at all times that way whenever you feel nauseated you can take a nibble. This may not work, but it did for me. I have always been one of those people that felt sick if i was hungry so when i was pregnant it was 10 times worse. hope this helps.

Ok, you are going to have some sickness and fatigue but I noticed that my pre-natal vitamins were the cause of my problems. I am a very small person and for all 3 of my pregnancies the 1or 2 pills contained way too much iron so I was stuck on Flinstones no kidding! So it might help to look into either taking (or not) taking your prenatals.

Can you sip peppermint tea? Or suck on a mint? that might help cover up the smell. It will also help with the extra saliva. I have also seen a wristband that works for airsickness. It is supposed to help morning sickness too. It was at Walgreens.
As for the fatigue, can you work less hours so you can catch some extra zzz's? You might feel more energized in a few weeks if you rest up then you can go back to your normal schedule.

I read many books and heard from others that your morning sickness will go away after 16 wks. I am at my 16 wks and still fighting morning sickness. But everyone is different. As for you feeling tired it's normal. It's the pregnancy hormones that make you feel this way. By 14 wks you shall regain your energy.

I found the little peppermint disks to be quite helpful when I was pregnant. As for the fatigue, well hon, that's just something that you are going to have to wait out. It will usually subside into your 2nd trimester. Then it's right back again in the last trimester from carrying the growing baby. Good luck & congrats!!

The main cause of morning sickness is a combination of issues related to the chemical changes your body is going through. Mix a pinch of nutmeg powder with a table spoon of gooseberry juice, and take it thrice a day. Sip little by little ginger juice mixed with honey before you get out of bed. mint has helped me, orange juice makes it worse! i thought i was crazy but the citric acid in it actually makes you throw up more. if you're taking your prenatal vitamin in the morning, try switching to night time. the iron makes some women nauseated. other than that i dont know. severe fatigue and morning sickness is sometimes a symptom of a multiple pregnancy. im carrying twins but have been extremely lucky in that department.
