Pregnancy - March 2007

I've been off bc for several yrs. I have taken depo, and orthotricyclin. While on that pill I had chest pain. Now I have considered taking pills again. I have heard that the lo pills are worse for you and cause more breakthrough bleeding. I'm going to my doc on the 26 of this month. I just want to know what some of you all think is the best pill to take. (with the least amount of side effects/heart attack, stroke? (none of these things run in my family, and I do not smoke)

My grandpa was a twin (they didn't know that the mother was expecting twins so the other died at birth). We don't know whether they were identical or fraternal twins but they were both boys. Does twinning (if they were fraternal twins) skip a generation? My Mum has 3 kids, we are not twins. Have I got an increased chance of having twins? Its my Mums side of the family. I am a female. My mums siblings (males) haven't had twins either.

this my second pregnancy last august i miscarriage my first baby. i dont have insurance so i spend almost $ 5000 for terminating my pregnancy. so i still trauma to go to hospital , anyone have information how much the cost for home birth or delivery baby at the birth centre? anyone know where is the place? i live at montclair , new jersey. please help me to find the information. thank you so much .

Ok,my sis was diagnosed with pp,and she just found this out,the doc says she is 6 mo pregnant.And this one will be her 7th kid,she is 30 years old,and the doc says that this is a High-Risk pregnancy.Is that bad?She is due in June late June

How many of you have had a ultrasound recently where the doctor was wrong about the sex when it was born? I just had a 18wk ultrasound and the doctor said it was a girl. It was pretty obvious even to me. But now people are saying thier doctor was wrong and came out different, but they were all at least 10 yrs ago. I would imagine technology has come a long way from then, and would be accurate. Anybody's not accurate?

l got told yesterday by my sister that the doctors where she is scheduled to have her twins was very concerned as the identical twins inside her only have 1 membrane to share instead of two... have you heard of this before and what is the worse outcome???

I have just founf out that I am pregnant around 4 weeks. I am getting married in a few months and before I found out I was pregnant I was planing to tan to have a nice tan for my wedding. I was wanting to know if I could spray tan because I know that tanning beds are not safe while pregnant.

i am 21 weeks pregnant and i am having rib pain and lower vaginal pressure/cramping...it isn't excurishating pain but it is there and kinda bothersome...anyone experience anything the same and what could this be?

ive posted twice and nothing ...

i was originally due on march 25 but they moved my due date up to march 15 (today) and this morning i was having contractions around 5 min apart but they eventually sent me home because they wernt strong enough. i went to my regular ob apt. today and she said i was a tight 3 cm, 50 % effaced and -1 station. i asked her if she could strip my membranes but she didnt becuase i have the strep b but she irriated my cervix which hurt like hell !! now my cervix is bleeding and im just wondering if anyone else had this done and if so how long did it take for them to go into labor ? what what your expierence getting ur cervix aggrivated

I took an early pregnancy test two days ago, and it was negative but I am not convinced that it was accurate. My last period was feb 15th. I have had some symptoms like flashes of naseua and sometimes I feel like I'm going to faint, then it stops, and I feel fine. On the other hand I had menstral cramps and bloating up until yesturday. I still feel very bloated, but no cramping today. I keep going to the bathroom to "check" and nothing. I took an early pregnancy test two day ago and it was negative, but I took it at night, and I hear that the morning urine contains the most horomone.
what do you think?

I had sex with a guy I only knew for two weeks. I had a period before we had sex. Now I'm pregnant.

If he has 2 other baby mamas and 1 had a boy and the other had 2 boys, can you tell by his sperm/offspring if he's the father of my baby?

I'm having a boy also.

My older sister (im 13) is 16 and pregnant. My mom,grandma, and grandpa for bid her to see her F'iance. He is 20 years old and has been in trouble before. Like holding a gun to his EX wifes head. (shes okay) it was b/c she was sleeping around. But still he wasnt doing right. And he doesnt have a good life and a job. So my grandpa turned him in (since she lived with them..long story) and they cant see each other untill my sister is 18. But he might have to be in prision longer like maybe 5 years. My sister is keeping in touch with his family on yahoo. And he said that he swears to god he will come back to her wen he gets out. No one belives that but his family. Now my sister lives with my family b/c ,my grandparents kicked her out. my mother is kinda okay with this. How do you think this will turn out? And how should my sister learn to be without him in the next 5 years or more. (people say he has slepped with 3 other girls and my sister has to get checked for STDs)

I'm just curious if anyone felt totally exhausted before they went into labor. I was sent home from the hospital sunday in "early labor", have period like cramps, a horrible backache and have never felt so tired in my life. No nesting here, just wondering if anyone else experienced something like this before going into labor.

I am 6 months , I'm a model fiugured girl, im 21 and I only gained 5 pounds (I now weigh 117) I was originally 112, im a really tiny 6months pregnant, you can still see my waist which is greatly defined, my doctor and nutristionist keeps complaining that i am underweight and I'm hoping everything will still go fine any suggestions

Im 13 weeks, and at the beginning of this week i thought that my morning sickness was starting to subside, but yesterday it was bad, it has never been this bad before. I haven't eaten in 2 days bc i don't have an appetiate and I can't keep anything down, I can't even keep liquids down. All i do is throw up every 5 mins. i'm throwing up and most of the time I don't have anything on my stomach so all i throw up is stomach acid. It is terrible and I starting to feel like I can't take this pregnancy any more. It is terrible, and feel like s***!!! I can't work, I can't do anything, i can't go nowhere bc I have to throw up all the time. I want a healthy baby but I'm scared it's going to be under weight bc i can't eat.

Has anyone experienced any funny or cute things that babies have done during your ultrasound? I had my first one the other day, and the whole time, the baby was jumping up and down! It was so cute; the nurse was getting annoyed because she couldn't measure the neck until the baby settled down. I was surprised to see how active the baby was at 3 1/2 months!

My best friend and I were talking about circumcision and we both agreed that it looks much nicer when a guy is but can you actually feel the difference when you have sex? We both agreed it is the same with a condom on but can u feel if he is circumcised when he doesn't where a condom?

How common is it that, the baby dies it you with out you knowing, I am sacred because, I don't really show, and I can't feel the baby yet. So I am scared that the baby dies without my knowing it.
