Has anyone experienced any funny or cute things that babies have done during your ultrasound? I had my first one the other day, and the whole time, the baby was jumping up and down! It was so cute; the nurse was getting annoyed because she couldn't measure the neck until the baby settled down. I was surprised to see how active the baby was at 3 1/2 months!

My baby is going to be a boxer. I have an ultrasound every week and every week she Beats it up with her little fists. It's really funny to see. Not, so fun to feel.

Oh yeah. We had an ultrasound at 19 weeks in the hopes of detecting the baby's gender. Our parents were pretty upset, because of course in their day they didn't do ultrasounds. Every kid was a surprise, and yellow and green were the staple of every newborn's wardrobe. So our folks were a little critical anyway, and apparently the baby picked up on that. Our ultrasound tech tried EVERYTHING to get a peek, but the baby kept covering itself up. We saw the little feet working back and forth, the little bottom, knees, toes, hands... all of it but the "area" that we felt was most important. After about 20 minutes of probing, the baby finally turned to the side and we thought "this is it... we'll be able to see now!" Yeah, right. The baby promptly took note that we were watching, covered himself up, and wiggled his thumbs at us. The ultrasound tech literally said "that's it, time to quit. The kid has attitude." We didn't find out we were having a boy until 36 weeks! But we have plenty of green and yellow onesies to show for it!

Thats funny! Babies are sooo wonderful. Yes my last ultrasound at 38 weeks (done because I fell on the ice) showed my little girl with her hand out as if she was trying to stop herself from falling. It was like she was saying "Mom quit falling" (this is the 3rd time I've fell). It was sooo cute. Good luck with your baby. I am due any day now and I can't wait.

Hello there,
Almost every time I had an ultra sound my little one had the hiccups. It was rather funny watching her have them. It just showed a little flutter...but still it was cute.
The last ultra sound I had just before I had the baby, she was moving around quite quickly, she looked like a little fish ready to jump out of her "bowl"...my hubby and I and the nurse all laughed for quite some time...maybe that was a hint that I should put her into swimming lessons early...lol lol...
Enjoy all those "firsts"!!!

At 3 months 1 week, my baby was doing the worm!! Her whole body ws just moving like crazy and a hand would fly up here and there. The doctor had to wait till she settled down to get a heartrate. And of course I was laughing at baby, so my stomache was bouncing too. It was great!

My first child...about 8 weeks internal exam showed her peanut body. She would be still, then just jump up and curl up. It was like she had the hiccups. This pregnancy, my son was playing with his feet. It was so cute!
