I took an early pregnancy test two days ago, and it was negative but I am not convinced that it was accurate. My last period was feb 15th. I have had some symptoms like flashes of naseua and sometimes I feel like I'm going to faint, then it stops, and I feel fine. On the other hand I had menstral cramps and bloating up until yesturday. I still feel very bloated, but no cramping today. I keep going to the bathroom to "check" and nothing. I took an early pregnancy test two day ago and it was negative, but I took it at night, and I hear that the morning urine contains the most horomone.
what do you think?

I took a pg test after I was late by 3 days - and it was positive.
But my husband wanted a second test (just to be sure) - so I went and got a different brand and took that test - Negative.
He flipped out and made me take it again - Positive.
Of course, I was pregnant.

Different tests measure different amounts of different hormones - believe it or not! So if you truly think you are - go get a different brand and re-test in the morning. The doctor's office will tell you that if you get a positive that you probably are - they actually use OTC tests when you go in for a test with them too. (Unless they are doing the blood test). So if you get a positive be sure to call them up for a verification blood test.

The early pregnancy tests are only around 68 percent accurate and are more accurate with first morning urine. So I would wait a couple of days then take another one in the morning.

morning urine does contain more of the hormone, that is true. You are just barely late though. Stress and many other things could have caused that (including hoping really hard to be pregnant)

If you are hoping to be pregnant, it is also easy to make yourself believe you are pregnant... in which case, it is very emotional to find out that you are not.

Take it easy, wait a week- if you still have not had a period, take another test.

If you are testing early the test say that they are only 65% accurate...best advice wait till the day your period is due and take the test first thing in the morning

its a month today that you've last had your period. I'd say wait a couple days if it hasn't come then see a doctor. sometimes women can get false negative tests.
