Abortion is murder, plain and simple, a life from the moment of conception. Anyone who doesn't think so is wrong, sorry if that upsets you all.

Hello abortion is legal. I am for abortion for many different reasons and even though i haven't had one if i did want one then i would not care what people like you think/thought.

I would have an abortion for the following reasons:
1)If i were raped
2)If the fetus had something horribly wrong with it and would only suffer a horrible life.
3)If my life were in danger and i was told i would die if i followed through with the pregnancy then i would abort because i would not want to leave my son motherless.
4)If i did not or could not handle another kid.

It is not your decision on why people have abortions. If you seem to think it is murder then how can you support the troops that kill people everyday? Abortion is a medical procedure not shooting someone in the head like the troops do.
It comes down to this:
My Body
My Sexuality
My Uterus
My Vagina
My Morals
My Life
My Choice
Not Yours

If it was a baby then they would not call it a fetus. A fetus is not a living, breathing human being until it is born and breathing on it's own.

Read this and tell me it is okay for teenagers to do this:

ADD: Why are you worried about it when it has nothing to do with you? So umm go preach about birth control.

In australia, pregnancy termination after 12 weeks is only done if there is an abnormality found in the feotus. But they will not do it after 20 weeks at all. Most women who do have a termination do it before that 12 week period any way. For those women who are 'pro life', i have a choice and i will exercise that right fully if need be, to take that choice away is barbaric and is unfair to the women and girls who wish to make that choice. You may say that a 13 year old girl is ' old enough to decide she wants to have sex, she is old enough to live with the consequences', in the eyes of the law she isnt old enough to make that decision, and personally i dont think that she can fully comprehend the specifics of the act or the consequences. Education is lacking as are the morals in the society where a 13 year old girl falls pregnant and the lack of morals comes from the parents and other important people in that childs life. You dont have the right to make 'the child pay for the crimes of the parent'. And secondly there may be many people out there who cant have children and want to adopt. There are also many more children who will never be adopted who desparately need help, try overseas adoption for the children who will end up the dregs of their society because there is no one to care for them. Forcing someone to have a child they dont want, grrr. There would suddenly be more babies than potential adoptive parents and half those women would decide to keep a baby they may not be able to care for. You could force women to have these children but can you force them to give up their child once its here, no. Maybe you would like to dictate who may keep their children as well.

Ok... first understand that i would never have an abortion... but also understand that it is a personal choice and that no one has a right to tell another person to bring another life into this world if they feel it wouldn't be right whatever their reasons.

You have to understand that there are cases of incest, rape, and teenage pregnancy that are really better off. Yes that is a life but your not the one who has to answer for taking it so why not just leave the ones that do alone? I'm sure they suffer their own little hell right there in their head and heart and don't need any help from you or anyone else for that matter.

You also have to take into account all the little lives that are brought into this world and suffer at the hands of the people that had them. Is a life lived like that any better?

It's now proven that post-abortion trauma is a total myth. It's a personal decision and if it feels right, then it's right.

Yes, in many states it's allowed up to 24 weeks. And why not? They make such a big deal about older women having babies and want to prohibit fertility treatments. So they won't allow a 60 year old healthy and financially stable woman to have a child but a teenager can get an abortion. Doesn't make sense at all. It goes both ways.
And abortion, fortunately, is legal and safe. There are still many countries where women die having illegal abortions.

That is why it is illegal to have it done after 12 weeks and you can belittle the women who have had abortions all you want, but I had 2 young boys and had a horrible problem , if I didn't have the abortion it could have killed me, then my two boys would have been without a mother. Would that have been the better choice? What about women who are raped. My neighbor was raped, got pregnant, and now has a 17 year old. She just had to tell this boy why his daddy wasn't in his life, he has now tried to commit suicide twice. His mother, remembers that horror everytime she looks at her son. People who are irresponsible and use abortion as a birth control are wrong, but when they torture and kill the babies, like the newborn thrown in a dumpster to feeze to death in a Chicago blizzard a couple years ago, as the baby died, crying, starving and freezing. I think that poor child should have been aborted to keep it from being punished and tortured, or the baby thrown to the alligators in Florida, ripped to shreds, yes that is a great life for that baby.

I don't think you're really asking a question put placing your point of view on everyone else. That is fine to do but don't pretend to be interested in people's points of view.

I've never considered abortion and never had the need to consider it. My friend however was faced with it years ago. She was pregnant with a baby with serious medical problems. The doctors told her that the baby would die within minutes after birth due to the tumors covering the babies face and that were inside his body. She was also told that her life was at risk if she didn't terminate the pregnancy and she had other children to care for. She was given two choices... 1.) abort the baby who was going to die at birth or 2.) continue pregnancy and risk her life for her son who would die himself. It was a hard decision for her to make. She had to listen to every one's abortion opinion because everyone who has never had to go through this thinks they are experts and know what's right. She did not end up having to make a choice. The baby died inside of her. As some one else mentioned, this issue is not black and white.

i'm previous the age of having to handle this subject, yet have constantly been professional determination. it is my physique, and that i by no ability had to make the alternative, yet there have been cases and prerequisites interior which i could no longer have mentally, bodily or emotionally have dealt with a toddler or raised one. in the time of those cases, i'm particular abortion might have been a attention, if mandatory. I remember a time whilst youthful females died eating turpentine to objective to abort undesirable toddlers. there have been many different undesirable issues they did additionally that led to them to no longer be able to ever have babies. I essentially desire that Roe vs Wade is by no ability revoked and that the alternative remains an determination for those people that locate ourselves in desperate situations the place abortion could be the only answer.

Most places in the United States abortion can only be done at 12 weeks or less. I don't know of anywhere up to 24 weeks.

I personally could not have one, but if you choose to have an abortion who am I to judge. You must have a good personal reason.

Abortion is a difficult decision for anyone to make. It is understood that a life is being ended by most when they consent to the procedure. It is a huge burden to carry and a decision that leaves many women feeling intense depression and remorse. It is a highly emotionally charged subject because it does seem unjust on many levels. BUT, having said that, it is no ones right to judge. If you are against abortion because of your religious values than pray for these women and these babies. Pray that God will guide them or help them. But remember that the bible says 'Judge not lest ye be judged'. And go on about your own life living in the way you believe to be right. And let others make their decisions, even if sometimes very wrong. If shaming and preaching and judging worked to stop abortion... it would have ended long ago. It hasn't worked and will not work because it's the wrong approach. You must reach out to the women with LOVE and COMPASSION... not preaching fire and brimestone and judgement.
