Did I screw myself up? I know I'm not pregnant, but I'm hoping that I get my period back so that someday my husband and I can have some kiddies!

Because you took them before your period, instead of right after, the hormones in the pills are keeping your period from coming. You should get your period when you take the placebo pills (the last week in the pack). It will not affect your future ability to have children and should regulate next month.

I'm on my boyfriends name so no, I am not a guy giving you advice about this, but you are supposed to start birth control pills the Sunday after your period is over to regulate them, not 2 weeks before it. By doing that, you have to go through 3 weeks of medicated pills (preventing you from having period) and then 1 week of sugar pills which is the week your period will fall. Talk to your doctor about it

it pretty much your body getting used to the birthcontrol..you did not screw your self up..birth control tricks your body into being pregnant...especially if your new to it..like for example..sometime i would wanna "skip" my period..soo in stead of taking those "water" pills i would start a new pack..and wouldnt get my period that month

I don't quite understand your question. Do you mean that your late compared to where your period used to come in your schedule? Or have you already taken all your placebo pills, and still have not started your period.

Did you start taking them when your doctor told you to? What kind of pills are you taking?

Please clarify, and then I can better answer your question. : )

I dont know what you are taking, but if youre taking the ones for 28 days and then stop-that is when youll get your period - not while your taking them. Just call your drugstore please. They will explain to you all about what your taking. Dont worry. bettyk
