how many weeks is it usually too find out the sex of your unborn baby in a ultrasound???

hi guys, i'm 37 weeks pregnant, and my doctor has told me that i could prolly go at any time. a couple days ago i started to get this really gross snotty discharge (just a little at a time and only about once a day), and it's been happening since about wednesday. is it possible to lose your mucous plug over time? i've heard it's possible but i figured i'd ask you all. thank you all :)

I'm almost 5 months pregnant, and I recently had an ultrasound hopeing to find out the sex of my mystery child. Well the stubborn little booger wouldn't let me know so now I prob wont find out till my last trimester. I wont be having another ultrosound till then.. and we were thinking that if we find out that late we might as well make it a suprise... so here's where the question comes in...How do you decorate or plan for a baby you have no idea the sex of? I know that if it turns out being a girl i can go buy all girlie close after and visversa with the boy, but i'm talking about the wall color and themes? I need a little help.

im 20 years old my period is 2 1/2 weeks late i took a blood test after a weeks late but it was negative and i was having a brown cream looking discharge for 3 days but it stoped so what can it be??? can i be pregnant???

This may sound weird, but I knew I was pregnant since late november/early dec. Even though I had a positive pregnancy test at home, the one at the Dr.'s in Jan. was negative. Yesterday, I went to a different Dr. who decided instead of taking tests she would use a doppler and sure enough there was a heartbeat of 160. Judging by my last period, they put me right at 19 weeks. Meaning I'm almost five months and didn't even know this whole time! What I'm wondering is what to expect at the 20 week scan, and is there anyway that the Dr. was wrong and and I'm not that far along? Even though I look it. LOL.

I just had my period and I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. I don't know if it is posable to get pregnant after haveing your period. And what also might hinder the "baby makeing" is the fact that I have PSOS polly systic ovarian syndrom. Which for thoughs who don't know what that is it is where your overies look like chocolate chip cookies. basicly its a whole bunch of systs on your overies. I don't really know what to do and I'm not ready for a kid, I'm only 17. any help would be appretiated.

Okay im 18 years old. Im about 4 months and a week. My belly is not even noticable just alittle swollen. But Im the type of person scared of everything. I dont even fly on airplanes because im horrified of them. I need help, I heard that women die giving birth. Im super scared because I'm only 18, 4'11 and really skinny. I am healthy though and I dont have anything wrong with me. Im super scared of drugs (epidural) but I WILL DEFINTLY ask for them to ease the pain? Is it common now and days for something to go wrong ???

Im 15 and im freaking out. My boyfriend and i fool around a lot and we used to not use a condom (hoooorrrrible idea) and we had many of these pregnacy scare. i was about 4 days late every month. well now, for about the past 2 months, we've started using condoms b/c our friends were totally scared for us.

Ok, but my deal now is that (even with counting in the 4 days late) i should start today, but i haven't, yet. I am contimplating going to the drug store and getting a pregnacy test, but im not sure. should i wait? or do you think i might be pregant?

oh yea, i don't have any signs of pregnany except for that im late and i am a little sick to my stomach but im pretty sure that my nerves.

Please help im freaking out.

& please don't tell me to tell my mom. this past year (2006) has been really rough on her from me and i don't want to bring her into something like this if their isn't anything in there.

Im almost 39 weeks and last night my mucus plug came out, now last night and this morning i've been having a lot of discharge... Does this mean I'm going to go into labor anyday now? BUT... i haven't had any contractions and im only 50% effaced and 1 cm dilated.

I initially cut down from a pack (25 cigs) a day to approx 5-7 smokes a day. I decided I was going to completely quit today and so far, so good. I have gotten through a few strong cravings and am trying to distract myself. I would like to know from people who've quit..how long will the withdrawals last? I know I must do this for my baby but I just wonder how long the misery of withdrawals will last.

I am 25 weeks pregnant and can feel the kicks all the time, but whenever I ask my husband to put his hand on my belly he says he feels nothing, which seems weird to me cause I can feel it with my hand on my belly (but maybe it is because I can also feel it inside).

is it really normal to have spotting if ur pregnant. i dnt know if i am or not but it isnt like my reg period its light pink and sorry but (smells dif). and this is almost 2 weeks late and my stomach is still sort of sore and tight feeling but it isnt cramping like i get when i have my period. it feels diff. what should i do?? any advice

He tested for pre-eclampsia through an ultrasound. I am 38 weeks along now and if I have the same or higher blood pressure today what will he do? Is there a possibility for induction? Please advise.

My friend has two kids. After she gave birth to her first (girl), her tummy went back to normal. When her daughter was about 3, her tummy started "blowing up" as if she was 6 months pregnant. The doctors didn't find anything abnormal(!!?) and said it was probably psychological, since she wanted a second child. Then she did get pregnant and had her son. Now he is one year old, and she still has her tummy as if she didn't give birth ! Her doc says "everything is fine" and she should just do crunches !!?!?!! They don't have much money and I think her doc is really lousy and doesn't care less. How can he say everything is fine when her stomach is round as a balloon ??? Are there any doctors / nurses or anyone who can help or have heard of this before?

I'm extemely hormonal and although I'm not fighting alot with my husband, but when we get into it, I find myself screaming alot. My rants only last 5 minutes, but I'm scared that those 5 minutes of yelling will cause a miscarriage or something. I try to control myself, but it just comes out of no where.

Plus, he wants me to rest alot and says, if you need anything just call me. Well I will yell and yell out his name to no avail. Then finally I will find him sitting and listening to his music through hearphones.
