Might Be Pregnant and scared...Help?

Question

Im 15 and im freaking out. My boyfriend and i fool around a lot and we used to not use a condom (hoooorrrrible idea) and we had many of these pregnacy scare. i was about 4 days late every month. well now, for about the past 2 months, we've started using condoms b/c our friends were totally scared for us.

Ok, but my deal now is that (even with counting in the 4 days late) i should start today, but i haven't, yet. I am contimplating going to the drug store and getting a pregnacy test, but im not sure. should i wait? or do you think i might be pregant?

oh yea, i don't have any signs of pregnany except for that im late and i am a little sick to my stomach but im pretty sure that my nerves.

Please help im freaking out.

& please don't tell me to tell my mom. this past year (2006) has been really rough on her from me and i don't want to bring her into something like this if their isn't anything in there.

Wow this is a tough one to answer. First off I'm glad to hear that the two of you are finally using condoms which you should have right from the begining. Young people generally have irregular periods. It sounds like you have a difficult time communicating with your mother. Is there a counsler or a preist you trust? Because number one the fear of pregnancy at your age is a huge weight to carry on your shoulders. It may not be a popular response but I suggest you take a pregnancy test. Find out for certain (though they are not 100% when it shows up negative). If it shows up possitive first go to counsler to talk with them so that way you at least get it out in the open and can formulate with them the best way to let your mother know. Then talk with your mother. I wont bring up the point that you probably should already have had the talk with her because I know it isn't what you want to hear and the reality is that you probably wont. I actually do remember what it was like to be 15 and I grew up in a liberal household! I also wont preach one way or the other on what you should do if you are pregnant. Just don't be so scared to tell anyone that you put both your life and the possible baby's life in danger. Whatever the outcome talk to someone who is a professional because they can help you with the emotional side better than any one on here or any of your friends do. I wish you luck!

If you are only one day late, then wait a few days. The more you worry yourself, you could delay your period even more. Wait a few days and then take a test. If you don't want to wait, take the test now, but it seems that your period has been late before, so I wouldn't be too worried If you have been using a condom. Although, anytime you have sex you always have a chance of getting pregnant. You really need to talk to your mom about birth control if you are not pregnant. I am sure that she would rather you be on birth control than get pregnant. You are only 15, you have no idea how pregnancy would change your life. Please be more careful. You know that not only could you get pregnant, but you could get an STD. Good Luck.

Honey first of all, relax! Did the condom break? Is that why you think your pregnant? Go to the drugstore and buy a test. That way you'll know for sure. I know when I was your age I had a few scares myself! And worrying so badly can actually delay your period too..so first things first, get a pregnancy test and find out for sure. If your not pregnant I suggest going on the pill as it is more reliable then a condom. If you are pregnant then you will have to deal with that. I know you don't want to talk to your mom yet but if it turns out you are pregnant, you'd be suprised how supportive your mother will be. My mom had me at 16 and I'm glad she didn't choose to abort me. Being so young she could have but she knew that the right thing to do was keep me and raise me. I would just hold out a couple more days. It kinda sucks but worrying about your period can actually delay it. If you've been good at using the condoms, I'd say that you should be ok.
The ability to handle a "scare" is the main part of the "are you old enough to have sex" question. Maybe you should consider backing off a little. Just a thought, don't hate me.

You are going to have to take a test. There is no way of knowing without a test. If you are pregnant then your ARE going to have to talk to your mom. If you are not pregnant you STILL have to talk to your mom. You need to go and get on some type of birth control. I had pregnancy scares with my boyfriend (who is now my husband) We had many scares until one day I was really pregnant. I had my son, he is 8 now, I had him when I was 19. Head to the store and get a test. If it's negative, breath a sigh of relief and then tell your mom anyway. You need to go to the doctor and get on the Pill. That way, both you and your mom can rest assured. She'll probably be a little relieved that you came to her for help.

well first stop stressing because that can cause you to be late. i would wait 4v days. still no period then buy a test or get one free at a clinic or something. always practice safe sex. it eliminates stds and lets you be ready for a baby. a baby doe snot ruin your life though and if you are be smart about it. even if itll upset your mom if you are you will need her support and guidance in this great adventure that maybe a head of you. good luck with your results.

honestly u shouldnt be having sex, and obviously ur not going to stop so if ur not pregnant then go get on the pill and use condoms. maybe u should just wait it out till your period is definatly late and then test.

I don't think you should stress about it, give it atleast two weeks and if you still don't get it, then you should go to the doctors and if your not your periods might just be irregular and you might need to get on birth control.

just get a home test from the store. if its negative and still no period in a week or two, try again. breathe, relax, calm down, it will be ok either way.
