My friend has two kids. After she gave birth to her first (girl), her tummy went back to normal. When her daughter was about 3, her tummy started "blowing up" as if she was 6 months pregnant. The doctors didn't find anything abnormal(!!?) and said it was probably psychological, since she wanted a second child. Then she did get pregnant and had her son. Now he is one year old, and she still has her tummy as if she didn't give birth ! Her doc says "everything is fine" and she should just do crunches !!?!?!! They don't have much money and I think her doc is really lousy and doesn't care less. How can he say everything is fine when her stomach is round as a balloon ??? Are there any doctors / nurses or anyone who can help or have heard of this before?

Has she had an xray or ultrasound? She nay have developed cysts, fibroids or a tumour in her womb or abdomen.
Or she may have water retention, does it get worse towards her period?

My grandma's still looked pregnant the rest of their lives, literally. They both had a lot of kids though too but they were thin every where else. I would say your friend is going to need to do a lot of exercise. I gained six inches on my waist with my son. I exercised right up until my second pregnancy and still didn't loose the 6 inches. Every woman's body response differently. Some really lucky women actually get their figure back but I think they are few and far between.

The more beneficial little ones you've the more beneficial lack your abdomen muscle tissue develop into and it takes a touch longer to get its tone back. attempt having her do lite cardio like walking outdoors including her young ones in a stroller, further benifits for the little ones. and then have her start up doing a touch yoga. there's a e book out their that enables mommy's with the free tummy muscle tissue, it it easily called mummy tummy yet no longer particular about author. Yoga helps strenghten your back which helps carry your abdomen muscle tissue in. i am hoping this helps out some i had a infant of my personal and that i know that it takes truly a lengthy time period to get those abdomen muscle tissue below administration.

I have noticed since I gave birth 2x in less than 20 months that fat collects more around my belly button. I am toned everywhere else, just not there. No amount of crunches or running takes care of it. (I also had 2 c-sections... that may have something to do with it?)

Why are you interfering in this? If she is concerned about it, let her take care of it herself.
