Pregnancy - February 2007

Yesterday made the 3rd day that i was late on my cycle. Finally a glimspe of hope. I started to spot. It was a very light pinkish color, which is how it always looks when my cycle begins. Then 2 or 3 hours later my flow would start to get pretty heavy. The spotting lasted for about and hour. After i started to spot yesterday i never saw anything again after that. No heavy flow 2 or 3 hours later. So here it is the next day. Still now cycyle. I starting getting my cycle when i was 11yrs old. I am 21 now. I have never been late with my cycle and it has always been regulated. My breast has been extremely sore, more than usual like when your cycle is about to begin. My boyfriend and i do have unprotected sex, and we use the pull-out method. And yes i know that it is kinda naive for me to think that i won't get pregnant this way. But it has always worked before. And all the way up until today he has pulled out every time he climaxed, and still got my period every month except for this one

I've been married for a yr and my husband and I decided to start thinking of having a baby. My in laws were bugging us all abt it but we told them we will wait a little. But now theyre sayin we should not have a baby now bcuz they think I'm too skinny and the baby will suffer and will not be healthy. In our culture (I'm Egyptian) fat is healthy.. I am not a food fan and I eat very little just so I would stay alive. they all love food but eat waaaay too much. I'm 23 and I weight 112 lbs,my height is 5.2 is it really not healthy for me to have a baby right now even though I plan to change my diet and eat more than i usually do when im pregnant?

What I mean is that if either the man or the woman wants the child to be born, the child should be born. But a lot of women seem to think that it is completely up to the woman, meaning she can abort the child even if the man wants to keep the child. How is that not complete BS?

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and feel like utter crap. I'd just gotten over my bronchitis when I found out I was pregnant, and since then a cold has been circling the household. It got around to me and I'm one of those lucky ones that when I get sick my body goes all out. No fever as of yet but I can't sleep I've tried the over the counters the doctor's office recommended, and it's really hard to eat a lot of healthy foods and liquids when you're poor :( . The steam thing doesn't work, blowing my nose doesn't clear anything just makes me more congested. And now I'm sneezing and starting to cough, feel like I'm without hope. My first doctor's appointment isn't for another week! (even though the last time ended in a miscarriage you'd think they'd have me in sooner) I can't sleep because I can't breathe, I feel so hopeless. My husband is doing all he can and I'm still so horribly sick... What do I do?!?

I had my tubes tied in August of this year. Is it possible to have conceived? I know that as time goes by, the chances of doing so increases, but I though that this form of conception was 99.9% effective the first 5 years. I have three children already, so I know what "my" morning sickness feels like. I'm wondering if I should buy a pregnancy test just to see.

I AM 19 WEEKS TODAY, AND FOR ABOUT THE LAST TWO WEEKS, I HAVE BEEN WORRYING WHAT IF MY BABY DOES NOT HAVE ALL ITS FINGERS AND TOES, WHAT IF ITS LEGS AND ARMS ARE NOT FULLY DEVELOPED, AND OTHER THINGS. I ALSO WONDER IF I WEAR PANTS THAT ARE A LITTLE SNUG ON MY BELLY THAT MY BABY WILL NOT GROW RIGHT, I DONT KNOW, I HAVE A SONOGRAM APPT. i was wonderin how lng u r actuallly pregnant for cause they say nine months but that would be 36 weeks but u carry a baby for 40 weeks which is 10 moths an i heard that the first moth doesent count

Well, Im pregnant again, miraceoulosly. Well not really miraceoulosly but very suprisingly. My son Benjamin will be 3 months on the 11th and Im now 8 weeks pregnant.This was not planned at all, I was using 2 types of BC and didnt plan on conceiving again until my son was at least age 4 but it looks like things dont always go as planned. But besides the fact that It's WAY TO SOON, I'm happy. Maybe I'll get a girl and have my set. I was just wondering how many of you believe in the gender predictors because with my son it said boy and this time it says girl I was wondering if it worked for anybody else?

My wife wants me to get one. I feel pressured to do it even though I don't really want to. My reason, I've just heard horror stories about it hurts, it might not work, it gets infected, i don't want a man with a knife touching me, i don't want a woman with a knife touching me, etc...I don't plan on ever having more kids but I don't want to feel like I'm a dog and am getting clipped either know what I mean? I am 38 weeks and 4 days today. Woke up this morning to really painful aching back pain. Ignored it thinking it just comes along with labor being just around the corner. Layed down about 5 and couldnt get comfortable but couldnt get up cause it got worse on my feet. Had some clear thin liquid come around 1100. wasnt alot called doctor on call and he said not to much they can do so i need to just find a comfortable position and call if anything else gets worse. It is not 4 in the morning and the pain is worse than before. No regular contractions though. Went to the bathroom and wipe and the color on the toliet paper was a light pink. Is there anyone out there that can help me understand what is going on or give me the heads up on what to look for or even what to do at this point. THANK YOU so much,.

i recently had intercourse with my fiance (whom i do not live with and i have feared that he has been cheating on me) and as soon as we were done my vagina became severly swollen and now 2 days after that i have had this funky discharge that is light brownish yellow and has an awful odor. my mother has told me it may be a natural part of the pregnancy but to keep an eye on it, i was just wondering if any other women have experienced this kind of discharge this early in the pregnancy and if it was an infection which i know could lead to a miscarriage or if it was normal please only serious replies.

I recently broke up with a guy, and about a week afterwards, discovered that I am in fact pregnant. There is no hope of getting back together with him, it's just not what I want, we don't fit.

He already has 2 children who live in the same town, yet he never sees them (by his own choice) and he does not pay child support. We are living in a town where neither of us is from, we have no family or real friends here. Because of that, he has decided to move back to where all of his family is. I plan on staying here. I really have no real desire to tell him that I am pregnant, since he will be gone anyways and I don't really feel he needs to be around. I will likely never tell him, unless my child wants to know, so should I suck it up and tell him now? Having him around will do nothing but stress me out and right now (because he will try to use it to convince me to get back together with him), and I really don't need the added stress in my life.
