I'm trying to find healthy alternatives to my usual chips and dip, which is definitely not so healthy. I'm pregnant now and I don't wanna gain too much weight. What do yall think of reduced fat Triscuits w/ cheddar? Or would it be bad to eat them w/ the cheddar? What would be some other healthy toppings for the Triscuits? Thanks

im booked to be induced in 2 days and i really want a natural starting birth! it s my 1st preg. and for the past 2 days ive been getting a clear jelly like discharge after the toilet..is it normal?sorry for being gross!

My period came on the day it was supposed to and it was normal and just as heavy as usual. We used a condom and i did not let him finish. My boobs are not sore, i don't urinate often, and i am not tired. I'm okay right?

I am 5 months pregnant and after reading this book I am very disheartened and depressed. She has made out having two children to be such a negative experience, the only good comments are squeezed into the last 2 pages!
Now I know having my second child will be hard and a big adjustment but I was actually looking forward to it and thought it would be fun and rewarding too.
Surely this book is being a little over the top? It can't possibly be that depressing to have 2 kids or noone would do it, let alone go on to have 3!

Hi everyone! I will be 12 weeks tomorrow and I am having STRONG feelings i may be carrying TWINS. I want to explain why and please give me some input!
1.) I tested positive barely 2 weeks after my last period. ( when i should have been ovulating ) but right after I ceased the use of birth control (nuva ring) - which sometimes makes you release more than one egg.
2.) am or feel like already showing some.
3.) having dreams of having twins
4.) EXTREMELY fatigued
5.) at the first exam the doctor said my uterus felt like i was 10 weeks. (i was 7)
I am going to try to attach a picture of the ultrasound- on the right i see a little thing that may be another sac.

Uh I have a job interview in 2 hours and I just feel like crap. I don't really have anything to wear, I mean I have nice maternity clothes but not like a suit or anything. The interview is with a shrink.....which weirds me out bc he might ask some pretty weird things and analyze me the whole time. What would ya'll do???

Though I am in the dental field, the doctor I work for is very intelligent and very knowledgable in the dental and medical field, including pharmacology. He has been teaching me what he knows for as long as I have worked for him. I don't usually give medical advice unless it is something that I know for sure that I am right on. I answered a question a couple of days ago, about what was ok to take for pain during a pregnancy. My answer was based on my medical knowledge, not just my own opinion. I know that my answer was accurate. Another person later on answered and said NO NO NO NO and advised the asker that I was wrong and told her to take something that I know for a fact most OB/GYN's would tell a pregnant woman NOT to take. If this person did have medical knowledge, they certainly need to go back and study some more, because the advice they gave was wrong and could be dangerous. Why do people give medical advice that is just their opinion and not actual facts?

i am about to go to my sisters house where my entire immediate family is having dinner. (mom, older sis, older bro, his wife and 2 kids) im 10 wks and havent told them im preg? i REALLY dont want to hear anybody's mouth about not being married. im not getting married nor do i want to. but i gotta tell them eventually...tell em all at once or try the trickle down efffect (tell my sis-n-law, have her tell my bro ( the most open minded of the family) , who can tell my sis, who will tell my mom?

ps im in my 20's with my own car, job, place, etc. and an education.

I had unprotected sex and then approximately two weeks later started having light bleeding. It lasted about a week...I heard implantation bleeding can last that long, it just depends on the person. It was either brown or pink in color, no red...it wasn't like a normal period for me at all. It was extremely light instead of heavy and didn't come with any strong, painful cramps. It also came a WEEK earlier than I expected my period to come...they're usually very regular and I've never had spotting occur before. I should've had my regular period start on the 28th and it didn't. Now I have sore breasts, increased vaginal discharge, bad mood swings, a little bit of nasea on and off, and slight cramping...it doesn't really hurt, but I can feel it. I tested Tuesday and got a negative result. It's been a little over a week since my regular period should've come...Is the test right? Or is it possible that I'm pregnant? Has anyone had anything like this happen before?

im 36 weeks, is this too early??? i really just want him out!!! he is kicking my ribs, and is moving ALOT more lately, and if i really wanted to "self induce" myself, i would do it when i was 37 weeks, (next monday the 19th) because my wedding is on the 16th of
Feb.

is it wrong to want to self induce my self at 37 weeks??? i mean, an average term baby is 38 weeks???

sorry, im just ready, and not being able to sleep because you have your son's foot in your ribs is really painful

i'm not sure all i know was that the second line on the second test was almost invisable but ive been having slight cramping and bloading like im on my period but im not i have had what i thought was my period buut it only lasted for 3 1/2 day ive been sick vomiting on and off through out the day for days its a funny felling in my somick cant really explane it

I want birth control to regulate my period/possibly have sex with my boyfriend in the future, but my mom flipped out on me when i suggested it. A while back she told me to come to her if I ever wanted it, but for some reason shes taking that back now.

Is there any way to get it without parents permission? Or do your parents *need* to know for legal reasons?

I am 5 weeks pregnant. I purchased geisinger ins Jan 1st 2007 and then dropped it Jan 31st 2007 since there maturnity coverage was horrible! My hubby has had the same ins for years Blue Cross / Blue Shield.His boss pays for his ins 100% due to my hubbys requests to work for there company. I bought geisinger ins b/c it was cheaper for me to have induvidual through geisinger than to have a fmily plan through his work... about 800$!!! plus...we didnt think we would get so lucky on conceiving so fast :) we are blessed... moving on... He added me on Feb 1st 2006 and I am covered 100% and everything will be covered 100%. He just got a fabulous job offer 75k plus a yr. The new corp has the BC/BS Ins also. Will I be covered? I called BC/BS and they said if the plan is group I will be covered which it will be since its a HUGE CORPORATION... although what about the waiting period for Ins at a new job if there is one we arent sure yet, just being prepared.... any advise?

A day after my period ended I took my pill around 11pm (I usually take it at 6 or 7pm). That night I had sex without a condom with my boyfriend and now I'm scared I could be pregnant. What are the chances? I think I'm convincing myself that I have symptoms (mostly just feeling sick, but that could be from worry too!). It's only been a week, so it's too early to take a pregnancy test. Has anything like this happened to anybody?

Hey guys I think i might be pregnant, but i am on the pill. Last month my period was normal came on time, and bleeding heavy like always. I do have unprotected sex with my husband all the time. My period (well i think it was) were a little late, i only got pinkish blood when i wipe for the whole day not even getting on my underwear, Next morning i got little brownish blood enough to use i tampon, then it stopped for a couple of hours, then it turned again into pinkish spotting , will only see it when i wipe. I had slight cramping and had a huge headache that i though my brain is going to explode in my skull, it hurt so much that i started to cry. I never experience a headache like this before or even before a period i never get headaches . Anyways took a test and it was negative. i still have brownish pinkish blood but this is so not like my normal period its so light. Is is possible that i might be pregnant and i am testing to early, Should i wait and how long?

I am 7 wks pregnant and experienced a slight cramp last night accompanied by brown discharge. I have a healthy , soon to be 4 year old, and NEVER had ANY bloody dicharge throughout the entire pregnancy? This is strange, also this morning there were a few tiny drops again w/ NO cramps? One person tells me It sounds like I'm having a miscarriage and others say it's completely normal.. In my "what to expect when expecting book" , there is absolutely NOTHING normal about brown discharge???
I called the Dr today as my first appt is not until Thursday and she said that if it persists then I need to come in Monday for a sonogram. My breasts are NOT sore like they were yesterday and my stomach doesn't feel as hard as it did yesterday? Is this now all in my head? Help!
