i took a one pregnancy test this morning and it came up negative but my girlfriend toled my to take another one so i did and that one came up with one very dark line and one line that was barley vizable like it was there but not there

All three of my pregnancies were the same way. It was so faint that I often wondered if I'm was "making it up!" All three times it didn't show a dark positive until well into the third month! I'd heard the heartbeat before my preg test was a for sure yes! I must be some kind of freak! lol

I would not take it as a definite positive. It's kinda like a maybe. I had the same thing happen to me I waited a couple of days and was pregnant but I've heard of people getting their period right after a weird result like that. I would wait a few days and test again, with a different brand if possible.

Positive.....any line that appears regardless of how light it is means positive. I have three kids, and with my last pregnancy that happened to me. My husband not wanting any more children said it didn;t work and bought me another...same thing happened...after taking 3 tests with same results and went in to the doctor's to take a test....it was positive. Good Luck!
I suggest you go to the doctor's too just to make sure.

I would take that as a positive....that happened to me with my son, and it was just because I took the test so early there was just a small amount of HCG to detect. Take the test again in a couple of days and see if it is darker. Sounds like you are probably pg though! :)

Even a really faint line is a positve test, the lighter the line the earlier on you are, take another test to confirm.. but if there is a line its possitive..congrats...

Then you are probably preggo... depends on the test you buy- I bought a generic Meijer brand test, and had the same thing happen... it was so faint, I couldn't tell, but it was there, so I figured I was... I bought an EPT test, and yep, I was! SO try an ept test see what happens. You just might be pregnant!

maybe u r still in an eary stage of pregnancy
the 2nd line determines your hcg level, and if it is still low it will not show that much.
try another one in few days, but you might be preg.
