Pregnancy tests test for the presence of HcG. This hormone will only be present for one of two reasons, you are taking a pill of it (you are not) or you are pregnant. It is almost impossible to get a false positive on a pregnancy test. The tests can only detect the presence of HcG when it gets to a higher concentration (at about two weeks pregnant). If you test before then, you will get a false negative because there is not enough HcG to register. If you got a positive, even a light one, then you are pregnant. If you are sure you saw the second line, then you are pregnant. If you want so badly to be pregnany that you may have invented it, then test again, by this time you should get a nice clear line. If you are sure, call the doc and make an appointment.
Good luck

There is a good likelihood you could be pregnant. If the first pregnancy test was negative, it may have been too soon for the pregnancy hormone to be detected. If the second test has a very faint line and you are having these symptoms, you could be pregnant. I'd wait a couple days and re-test again, or go to the doctor and be tested again. When I was pregnant with my first child, I was vomiting within 3-4 days of conceiving. That was very soon. I just had a feeling something was different, so I took a test that came out positive. I verified it with my doctor. This all took place within 1 week of getting pregnant. While it is unusual to find out this quickly (it was too soon to be late with my menstrual cycle), I was so sick and throwing up immediately, that I had to find out. If you are throwing up, you need to find out immediately, because you could be like me, and a small number of women, whose bodies are very sensitive to the pregnancy hormone. I developed severe hyperemesis, which basically means, out-of-control vomiting. I was hospitalized twice, was throwing up every 10-15 minutes, 24 hours a day, for 2-1/2 months straight - NO LIE!! I was truly suffering. I ended up having a central line IV (an IV that goes next to your heart) and a home health nurse there to stay with me. I actually almost died. The anti-nausea medication they were giving me didn't help me.

Now, I'm not trying to scare you. I'm only saying that if you ARE pregnant, throwing up this early in a pregnancy, could mean that you COULD be one of those women who will develop hyperemesis. I went on to deliver a healthy baby boy. He is now 17 years old. In those days, the anti-nausea medications and treatments for hyperemesis weren't as good as they are now. Still, if you don't find out soon if you are pregnant and you turn out to be, and you are vomiting a lot, the hyperemesis can get out of control very quickly. It's better to find out now and get treatment for it so that you and your baby don't suffer. Best wishes to you.

well when you are very early in you pregnancy when you take a urine test your hormone levels are not high enough to pick up a +test. When I tested my line was so faint that I had to re test just to make sure that my eyes were not playing tricks on me because we had bin trying to get pregnant. So make sure that your urine is very concentrated and I am sure that if it is the line will come out darker.
What you tought was a period was probably implantation bleeding. So best of luck and see your Doctor... Good Luck :)

you will desire to continually purchase a 2 %.... likely you will question the outcomes no count if pos or neg. 3 secs is fairly rapid. in case you by no potential omit and are continually consistent i'd question the outcomes. in the journey that your no longer useful i'd retest in some days.

it is common to get a false negative, but if you get ANY positive, even something that looks like a slight positive, it is a positive indication of pregnancy....because it indicates that the pregnancy hormones are present.

You could still be pregnant, wait for a few days and try again or go see a doctor.
