I am a smoker (not a heavy one) but Im on the verge of quitting but it is very hard..and I am trying to have a baby. if I happen to get prego can i still quit or will that be too late cause I defenetly dont want to smoke while pregnant!everyone tells me it will put too much stress on the baby are they right?

when you found out you were pregnant? I haven't had my period in about 3 months now...and i took a pregnancy test the first month i was late on my period and it was neg. and also the second month and it was neg. i havent tried a test this month ... or is this just because i quit taking my birth control about 5 months ago.... however i have had my period after i quit taking my birth contorl but only 1 period. Should i be concerned or would i know by now if i was pregnant???

I have a really bad tooth ache. I went to the dentest yesterday and because I am pregnant he could not do x rays so he did not even look in my mouth.
I have tried orjel and that does nothing. It is my back wisdom tooth and it is causing so much pressure on my ear and killing it. Is there any suggestions on hot to help ease the pain?

Ok I took one of the $1 test from Dollar General and it showed a very very faint line in the test window and a dark line in the control window. My husband says it my imagination, but I was told that no matter what shade the line is if it shows up chances are you are pregnant is this true? Has anyone else had a test do this with them?

MY husband has strep throat, and I am 38 weeks, dialated 2, could go into labor soon. I want him to be with me, and get to hold his son after he is born, Will they let him while he has strep? I may just be paronoid, seeing how I don't think I am in Labor yet.

On that point, is having period like cramps, normal right now? It's all in my back, not my stomach. My stomach doesn't feel like it is hard or contracting, just my back feels like I just started my period. Do you think it is the baby sitting on something??

I just had my baby a few days ago, so I just started breastfeeding, My breasts are sooo sore, they hurt even in my back and not just in the nipples but everywhere. Is there any suggestions for pain? And is this normal?

I am 12 weeks pregnant, and I don't want to buy things RIGHT away but my mother in law thinks I shouldn't get ANYTHING until the baby is here, she says it is bad luck! ? so my question is - what do i bring my baby home to?

when did the moms here buy furniture and things like that for the baby? I also don't want to get too many things becuase I don't know what I will get at baby showers.

I got a + preg. result almost 2 weeks ago...it wasn't + until I was two days late..I have went to the Dr. on tues and they confirmed that I was indeed preg...I have had some mild cramping and my Dr said that was normal as long as it didn't get worse or with bleeding..My problem is I don't have any symptoms of being preg...Could I have misscarried without having bleeding or knowing about it?

ok so my fiancee and i have been trying to conceive for a year now. I am supposed to start my period in one week, but I am having this light bleeding and super light cramps. Almost like when i am getting ready to start my period(like the day before.) I took a pregnancy test on Thursday, it was posative? The test was a wal-mart one you know if the + in one window and a (I) in the other meaning your pregnant. But the plus was really light. So I took another one this morning and got the same light plus and (I)sign. Does this mean I am pregnant? I did use the first mornings urine to be sure.

I am 4 weeks and I have my doc's appt. this week but I was wondering if it's o.k. to sleep on my stomach. I always have. I know I will have to change this as I grow but is it o.k. for now?
