This is a difficult question with not knowing where you are. In the beginning before 5 wks they say "implantation" ...after 20 wks usually not normal...after 32 wks usually effacing and losing mucus plug....

Again difficult to answer without knowing what you really are asking...

It depends if your refering to implantation which can take around 6- 10 days after conception, or if you are waiting to find out if you're pregnant at which is your next period at 4wks or sometimes women may spot when they are due for or near a period during their pregnancy, I spotted at 10wks my OB said this was normal if you were meant to get your period. Sometimes spotting may happen also if there is a problem in which you should monitor it for any abdominal pains etc which could be due to miscarriage, eptopic, molar pregnancies. In this case you may want to visit your doctor asap.

i didnt have spotting with either of my pregnancies.... seriously, call your doc,or at least your birthing center... let them know whats going on... could be nothing, or could be a precurser to something really bad going on...

I had a doc tell me once that they EXPECT pregnant women to go in as many as 14 times for false stuff, before the actual delivery....

i didnt have any spotting... i dont think that you are supposed to have spotting while pregnant. so if you do have it, get it looked at by your doctor.
