Ok I took one of the $1 test from Dollar General and it showed a very very faint line in the test window and a dark line in the control window. My husband says it my imagination, but I was told that no matter what shade the line is if it shows up chances are you are pregnant is this true? Has anyone else had a test do this with them?

Yes this happened to me. I had a very very faint line, redid the test and it happened again. I phoned the company and that is what they said. It does not matter how faint the line is, you can make it out then it is positive. I had a daughter 9 mos later. Congrats.

Yes, this happened to my friend. But, a faint line is not as good as a dark line, so go get another test. Even better, make an appt with your doc on Monday to find out for sure!

Most of the time you can see the line before you even pee on the stick, so you may be reading into it too much, but if you are 'feeling pregnant', the best thing to do is go to your doctor and get a blood test, the only way to be absolutely sure.

Go buy a different test like from walmart or just wait a week to test and then you will get a bright line saying that you are pregnant. Congrats if you are!

I heard the same thing. I'm pretty sure that if you see any other line then its a definate pregnant. I was told that the shade may be light because its early in the pregnancy and the pregnancy hormone in ur urine is light.

It happend to me It was a light pink line and It was a $1 test and I am 31 weeks. Good luck!!!!

Sure did. I was not very pregnant. I had to get the Dr. to sign my pregnancy test so that my husband would believe me. Congratulations!

Yep, any line is positive. If you really aren't sure, test again with tomorrows first urine. Might give you a stronger result :)

Give yourself a few months you will know for sure!Or you could wait a wk or 2 and take another test.

wait a few more days take a good test from cvs or somthing or if your covered under insurence go to the doctor
