Pregnancy - January 2007

I have some problems with constipation even when I was not pregnant but it gets worst now that I'm pregnant. Can anyone recommend anything to eat or drink or take to help me with this problem... I know I have to tell my doctor about this...But I want to hear some views to some ladies who have the same problem. Thanks.

i had a misscariage years ago and since then had a healthy son. but wondering if when i lost my child did it feel pain? or suffer? the demise was at 12 weeks gestation.

Okay. I'm pregnant, and have been DYING all day for some greenbean casserole!! I have all the ingredients, but the expiration date on the bottom of my Cream of Mushroom soup says November of 2006. Do you think that it would still be good? It's Campbells brand.

im 16 years old i recently found out i was pregnant about 1 weeks ago but i also found out im 15 weeks omg my belly is harder and a little noticeable i went for my 1rst ultrasound 2day after school and my doctor said the sex of the baby was noticeable n he was seeing a baby girl im very very excited but can he actually see wat the baby is gonna be i will be 16 weeks 2morrow but i dont know if he could really see wat the baby is i got an ultrasound done

This is my 5th pregnancy,I know I should be an expert but there is such a gap between my youngest,that I have forgotton a few things. I am 9 weeks and havent got morning sickness yet,I had it for my other pregnancies but with this one not yet. JUst wondering if everything is alright. Can some one please help with your opinions? we have two other kids, and I really want him there... he says he needs to be with the kids...and won't come. But then mostly I think he just says that when he is mad at me. I really don't want my mom there or anyone else but just him.

If its the middle of the night I understand...but if it's not should I be mad?

Hey everyone,
I am 32 weeks pregnant with baby number 3 and I feel like I could go into labour at any time. The baby has been head first for the past 3 weeks and I have already started to dilate. With my first 2 children my son was a normal 9 hour labour at 39 weeks and my daughter was a quick labour at 55 minutes at only 36 weeks.
What Im mostly worried about is the fact my pelvis is very painfulas the baby has been sitting there for at leasted 2 weeks so there is alot of pressure. I am also experancing braxston hicks every 15-20 mins. Sometimes they will completely stop me in my tracks but other times its bearable but I notice everyone.

Has anyone else experanced this sort of thing? I find it hard to do my nesting and run after my other two kids so any surgestions would be muchly appriated.

I am 38 weeks pregnant and i am having these really bad cramps in my lower stomach by my crotch. I am in tears they hurt so bad. Is this is sign of labor? I just got checked today and i am a 1 cm dialated and 80% effaced... Any ideas on this really bad pain?

I have been having serious contractions and pains, until today...They were about 15 min apart...then the baby has hardly moved at all today....I still hurt and am having contractions they just seem to be more in my back and under my ribs...the uterine ones are not as intense...I am worried my water won't break and I will go into labor at night... at home...

The thing is that I’m not with the father of my baby who is on the way in a couple of weeks. My baby shower is going to be soon and I don’t really have a lot of communication with the father’s family, but I do with his mother(my ex-mother-in-law)and she told me that even though she’s out of the country for some time I should invite him and his family so they get to meet me and the baby. Please help me with real advised.

I think I may be pregnant but at the same time I'm really hoping I am so this may just be false hope. The only thing that seems unusual to me besides a late period, is how often I have dizzy spells. I took a pregnancy test that came back negative (I'm hoping I took the test too early). Has anyone else experienced dizzy spells or the feeling of being faint and ended up pregnant?

Im having mild cramps, like I am about to start my period.

But I've never had cramps like these, these feel like their in the middle of my ovaries, like right about my vagina.

And my lower back doesnt hurt just the middle does.

I'm 33 weeks along, and I had one late baby and one 5 weeks preterm. With this pregnancy I dropped almost all the way already. I had my first son 11yrs ago and I don't remember whether I dropped a week or two before delivering. With my daughter a year and a half ago, I don't remember dropping at all, but I carried pretty low since early in my pregnancy anyway. I knew she was coming early but 5 weeks was still sooner than I expected. Now with my 3rd on the way and having carried high just like with the first I'm quite confused. Does anyone have any idea about how long it is estimated that you drop before you actually deliver. I remember about two weeks but I'm not at all sure anymore. I'd appreciate the help since I don't want to scare my mom! Thanks

I had my last period on Oct 23rd... and I usually start on the 20th... The latest i've ever been was 3 days late... November came along and I barely had a period *spotting* 10 days late.... and it lasted half of a day.... and now that December has came and gone...I'm still waiting....its been 16 days..... and nothing.. I don't even have my regular signs of Period... I am always tired.... my pants ain't fitting that well anymore..... I am eating odd things that I don't even like.... I am always wanting food.... I am going to the bathroom ALOT.... My stomach is getting bigger and its pretty hard... my breast are swollen and they hurt... I took a test today and it said negative... now what can it be??

I am 35 weeks along, I feel like I am burning up. I am in Germany and to be comfortable the room has to be about 60 degrees. I feel sick too. I took my temperature a few times and it is normal. It only fluctuates one degree. I am so irritated with everyone and I can't sleep because of the restless legs and heat that doesn't exsist. Help

i just had my membranes stripped today im 38 weeks and 2cm 100% effaced -1 station...i had it done at 2 and now im getting what i think are contractions...they just feel like realy bad cramps when my belly gets hard. what do u think?

My husband of 5 years and I picked out a boy and girl name for our first child about 2 years ago.

We have been friends with a married couple for years, the wife just gave birth to her second child and named the baby "Alexander", which was the name we picked out too.

I am now pregnant with our first baby and we don't know if it is a boy or girl yet, but my husband still wants to name the baby Alexander if it is a boy no matter what. I want to also, and our friends knew too that it was a special name for us.

Do you think it will be weird hanging out with our friends when we will possibly have sons that are a year apart with the same names?

Should we still name our baby boy the name we have wanted for years?

I have had an upset stomach every day this week but as soon as i eat i'm fine, but i dont know what the rules are on figuring this out. I swear i haven't had sex in a month and I was sick about a week ago, with a bad cold/stomach virus and i really got my stomach out of whack. I have stomach ulcers as well. I'm just wondering if maybe i still have some of the stomach virus left? Maybe i'm over-reacting? I don't handle stress well at all, and I just started a new job, same company just different job. Could it just be nerves?

okay i thought i was pregnant so on wedneseday i went to the emergency room. come to find out, im not pregnant(thank god) but my stomach feels bloaded and tighter. However, the doctor called a few minutes ago and said they would like for my mom and i to come back. Do u have any idea whats going on?
