ok so tomorrow i will be 29 weeks pregnant and i want to start planning my baby shower but i have no idea what kind of things u are supposed to do at babyshowers idk what kind of food games etc etc plz help!!!!

im 38 weeks 2 cm 100% effaced and at -1 station...the past few days ive been miserablely crampy and having tons of braxton hicks contractions, i lost my plug this week also. at my app today my doc stripped my membranes and sed there wasn't really any point making another appointment next week...do u think it will work? i cant even tell u how crampy i am. what were ur exsperiances with membranes stripping?

I'm just curious when others have started. I'm still too small for maternity clothing, but my normal clothing is becoming too tight. I think I might try the rubber band trick in my pants for a while.

It says that I'm not pregnant. But I still have not had my period since the beginning of Nov. And I feel like crap all the time, I'm still peeing every 20 mins or so. Oh and my boobs feel even bigger then they are lol, if that's possible. But anyway, I don't know what to do, cuz I don't know if im pregnant or not.. what do you think I should do??

39 weeks 2-3 cm dilated cervix thin and ready 2nd pregnancy membranes got stripped 3 days ago by my OB. Any advise to bring labor quicker instead of waiting around being unconfortable?

Hey. I have had my period once in nov and then again in dec but the thing is that my period only last 2-3 days. For the 2 days i had my period it was heavy and normal it is light for the first day or so. My period last a week to a week and a half so it is a little wried that i only have it for 2-3 days now. I did have a iud in but had it takening out in nov. I also have teakening a pregnancy test twice and both times was negative. I have gain a little bit of weight but that could be from christmas dinner. So if any one know what i should do that would help me out a lot.

Sonographer said all was fine (strong heartbeat, in right place etc) but baby's intestines still visible on outside of body (was told this is were they do develop) and i have to go back in 3 weeks to see if they have fully 'turned in' to body.

I know i should have asked her, but does anyone know at what stage this would usually happen? I'm going to worry now for the next 3 weeks.

Im am currently 4 months pregnant and up until now i was overly big for how far along i am. i was always getting asked omg are you having twins your already so big!? Well no im not, and now all of a sudden im loosing all my weight its like i woke up and i am almost back to my normal size! Could there be something wrong? Please help

are you having true labor pains or false and what kind of pains are you having and how do you know if you are going to go into labor soon. Also what are some natural ways to bring the contractions pains more stronger and closer together.

ths is 2nd baby but i still feel clueless because its way diff from the first and that was about 2yrs ago im 39 weeks 2-3 cm cervix thin and ready and had my membranes stripped 3 days ago.
now im getting period cramps (on a scale 1-10) i would say 6 or 7. will these pains go away or will they stay until they get way strong to where i go into labor? are these pains just from being stripped?

They have been together less than a month? He just found out she is pregnant with his baby? it seems like a big trap to me? The guy is my roomate for 3yrs hes been over at her house everyweekend for the past month and is now moving in with her. i didnt mind that he moved in with her its just now all the sudden she is also pregnant now with him? does that seem like a trap? she is a mother of 2 one of her kids is 8yrs old and the other is not even 1yrs of age yet. now she is pregnant again and all the kids are by different fathers. i dont think its a good idea? but he want to pursue it so i cant really blame the guy. how would you handle this with your friend?

I had sex about a month ago but we used a condom. It slipped off so I'm not sure because I've been puking alot in school during the morning and before I go to bed. Beside that I piss like a maniac and haven't had my perios for alomst 2 mnths. I've heard several places thaat if the heart beat per minute of the fetus is greater than 140 bpm than it's a girl and if it's lower than 140 bpm it's a boy. This was true for my mother and a co-worker. Was it true for you?

I met this girl 6 months ago at a restaurant in TN she lives in Chicago with her bf. She flew down here for my bday in NOV. And now she just called me and sent me a email with an ultrasound pic on it showing she is preganant and its mine from the dates that she was here. I am confused and just need to know about conception. She was here nov 27th and 28th and the ultrasound says she is 7 weeks 1 day. So is it mine??

I went to the Dr on wednesday and I had no idea how far along I was, so they took some blood and then did an sonogram (i think) i dont know the different btwn the sonogram and ultrasound yet (im really new to this)-- anyways, they couldnt see anything except for the sac-- so I had to go back today-- the results of my blood were good/high ( about 10,038) but then they said that they should have seen something last time so I had another sono done today- this time I saw the embryo (ee!!) but she said the heartbeat was really really slow...is that bad? or could I just be earlier than we think? I have had pretty low blood pressure my whole life so could that have something to do with it-- I was also STARVING. Should I worry? This is my first pregnancy and I really really want it to work out.. Thanks for all your help!
