ok - All these people are going to make you panic. It's can be normal in some pregnacies to lose weight rather then to put on.
Just call your doctor and ask him/her what they think. It doesn't really matter whether you put on or lose weight it's about the baby and I was gaining and losing weight until my last trimester.

If you have not had bleeding and are still feeling the baby it could just be you are using more energy at the moment so have lost weight. Alot of people don't even show till 4 / 5 months.
I was big to start with and hardly put on any weight was so sick and even lost some around the same time as you.
I would suggest that you talk to your midwife - if you are in the uk you should be able to ring your midwife office (daytime) for advice or NHS direct for further medical advice.
I hope all goes well with pregancy

You need to contact your doctor or the hospital immediately. ... Especially if you have rapidly lost weight. (shape can change some as the baby moves, but shoudln't be changing that quickly)
I don't want to get into the list of what all could go wrong in a pregnancy, I am sure that you already know. And if your baby is ok, you don't need the added stress of worrying. But any time that you experience dramatic changes in weight, appetite, or other things that have to do with your health (such as suddenly becoming tired), you should speak to your doctor. Any time that there are clear signs that something is different, or if you just have a "gut feeling" that something has changed durring your pregnancy, you should contact the doctor or hospital immediately. (if your doctor's office is like mine and it may take hours to get a response, I suggest you call the hospital. - A phone call shouldn't cost anything, and they can either get ready for you to come in to the emergency room or notify your doctor that he needs to take the time to see you today.)
I hope that all goes well.

It could just be that you were bloated to start with and now you are losing that water, but not far along enough to be putting on a lot of weight with the baby.
I only put on 4 pounds in my first 4 months.
You should definitely see a doctor about this however.

I gained all of my weight with my second child in the first tri-mester then lost almost all of my body fat (my legs were great by the ninth month). Be sure to eat right, it doesn't matter how much you eat, it's what you eat. Keep up your doctor appointments beause he will probably send you to a nutritionist. Stay healthy. Your baby is taking all of your nutrition and calories. Baby takes first and you get the left overs. Sounds funny I know, but its true. If you are really concerned, please call your doctor, they would be happy to check you and your baby.

Iam not a medical professioanl so don't quote me on this, but it could be a sign of diabetes. I am 39 weeks and I sometimes wake up and look and feel smaller than when I went to bed. Speak to your doc or midwife and good luck.

for goodness sake why do people dramatise everything? Your fine it's normal your body has done a lot of work in the first three months it is just balancing out. Who are the nutters who do this? please stop it, may be there americans and do not realise contacting the doctor over anything is a waste of NHS time.
