wow,that's a lot you should loose 55 pounds.That's really unhealthy since you're 5 feet. It depends on how you're built. Apples gain it in there stomach boops. Pears butt legs, rulers same hips,sides,shoulders/boobs. Hour glass every where.
Are you pregent?THen, don't loose weight but if you aren't loose weight!

My friend was 235 pounds when she got pregnant.
At first, she lost a little bit of weight, and her doctor explained that it was because she had so much "excess" of nutrients, that the body utilizes some of it first.
She didn't start showing until about 6 months, something, again, her doctor said is quite normal in the case of an overweight woman who conceives.
Don't fret though, any pregnant woman, skinny or heavy, WILL show she's pregnant, not "just look fat"...you'll get round, just give it time. :)

I am 5 6 and weighed 135 before pregnancy. Right now I am 189 and my baby is 11 months now. and i have a big *** stomach that wont go down.

Are you pregnant? If your pregnant then yes your stomach will get bigger even if you are overweight. Depending how big your stomach is to begin with will depend on how much your pregnancy will show. Some women that are overweight, just look fat when pregnant, but that also depend how much weight and fat they gain while pregnant.

A friend of mine was about the same, and she got round but not till the last month and a half.

I'm 5'2 and weighed 218 during my first Dr appt. my belly is getting bigger but just outwards I don't look so fat anymore! LOL

my friends got around and really big, looks like she had six kids, and she never had one.
