I am pregnant and I am a smoker, I am trying to stop but I find it very hard. I was wondering if the patch or gum would be safer for my baby while I am trying to quit!

are you having true labor pains or false and what kind of pains are you having and how do you know if you are going to go into labor soon. Also what are some natural ways to bring the contractions pains more stronger and closer together.

ths is 2nd baby but i still feel clueless because its way diff from the first and that was about 2yrs ago im 39 weeks 2-3 cm cervix thin and ready and had my membranes stripped 3 days ago.
now im getting period cramps (on a scale 1-10) i would say 6 or 7. will these pains go away or will they stay until they get way strong to where i go into labor? are these pains just from being stripped?

I normally have high blood pressure but luckily it drops when I'm pregnant. My doctor said to move my legs around like I'm marching in place. Sometimes I think I am going to pass out and even start getting pale and clamy. Any advice?

I just went for my first check up, I am 6.5 weeks. They did a sonogram, well the one that gets inserted to check on everything. How soon did you get yours?

I am prone to breakouts, but have been clear for a while. Since I got pregnant, I am breaking out again. Not to get gross, but they're not thick or big or anything like that, they're a lot of little white heads that pop up almost every morning! Any adult acne kits your recommend? I hope this isn't some I have to live with the entire pregnancy, but who knows.......... Thanks!

Worried as I became pregnant immediately after coming off of the pill so concerned that my likelyhood of carrying the baby is reduced. Symptoms I've had (apart from missed period plus positive preg test) have been: sore breasts, sickness all day but only mildly (more like hangover sickness feeling), mild cramping, breakout on face and back. Mild cramping continuing but really not feeling very sick today plus my breasts dont hurt as much. Is this normal? I havent been spotting or bleeding but I am worried even though I know its really early on. Have an appointment with the doctor in 4 days time. Has this happened to anyone else?

I had my HCG levels tested at 14 days past ovulation and my progesterone was at 20 (really good) and my beta HCG levels were at 66.3. I am going to have additional bloodwork done on Monday to ensure that they are doubling/tripling as they should.

My nurse said that they usually like to see HCG levels at at least 100 at this point in the pg, but that everything is most likely okay. Did anyone have HCG levels at around 66.3 at 4 weeks pregnant and the pg was viable and healthy?

I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks in March so I'm a little paranoid with this pregnancy. Thanks for taking the time!

I am on a birth control shot, so I dont have a period. Lately I have put on some extra pounds, I excercise everyday and eat healthy, so I am confused about this weight. Also My breast have been swollen and very sore. COuld it be possible that I am pregnant, or am I just being paranoid?

my girlfriend lives 425 miles away, we just broke up and still are on great terms. we just werent compatiable for each other and last week she told me she was pregnant. abortion is not an option for her, but we have decided not to stay together. i have a great job and make a nice salary. i do not have any degrees i've just worked my way up the ladder here and i feel like if i leave i will struggle fianancially. but if i dont leave, the child will never know or be closer to father and that would kill me. she has realeased me from any responsbility, but i told her i would do whatever to help. any words of wisdom???

In the morning, I have to go to the bathroom so badly. I sleep too soundly to wake up in the night. However, when I go, my bladder will not release for a very long time, and then it is very slow to empty. Does this sound like a bladder infection? What can I do ( without drugs) to help?

I found out I was pregnant a month ago. And my history is very scary... see my mother and father both are twins. I also had a grandpa who was a twin and an uncle who had a twin. Twins run in my family as you can tell. I have not had an ultrasound yet, I go tuesday, what I am wondering is ... I had to go back to the doctor just a few days ago because I am sick, with my sinuses, and they put me on the scales like they always do... well I had gained 10 pounds in a months. I cried of course. I have read that when you gain a lot in the first month that it could be a sign for twins. I already have a pooch and my cloths DON'T FIT. Do you think it could be possible? Only thing is that I haven't been sick at all! Not vomitted one time while I have been pregnant. I would think if it was twins that I would be extra sick. What is your opinion?

well i went for an ultra sound to see what my baby sex is and both times they could not see nothing then the doctor told me it might be a girl but he is not a 100% sure so they kept looking and they cant see no peanus and they even used heat to see if it was a boy but nothing so does this really means its a girl cause i been saying its a girl but what do u think?
