I just went for my first check up, I am 6.5 weeks. They did a sonogram, well the one that gets inserted to check on everything. How soon did you get yours?

I've had 4 c-sections. My last child was the only one they checked in this manner and it was done at 6 months. All doctors are different and many decisions unfortunately are determined by insurance coverage as the procedure isn't cheap. Congrats!

Hi! I'm currently 8 mo's and i had my first sonogram @ 13 weeks. Had another at 23 weeks as well. These were both externally done sonograms...you know, the ones on your belly?

I got my first sonograms with both of mine at 12 weeks.
It just depends on that doctor. Some will do early sonograms and not do any more after that, others will wait until 20-28 weeks.

i didn't get a sonogram until i was like 20 weeks. i only got one done though so they probably waited to see the gender and do every thing at once though. i don't see why they would do one that early though because the baby barely has a heartbeat yet. i don't know but good luck.

I was 6 weeks. Then again at 8 weeks. Then at 12 weeks. Then at 18 weeks. But I have high risk pregnancies so they want to make sure everything is good. I hope your was GREAT. Good luck and CONGRATS!!

I got a vaginal ultrasound at my first appointment at 8 weeks. Some doctors do early ones, others don't.

I had the transvaginal one at 5 weeks . I was on clomid, so they were looking for a multiple birth

i got my first at 5 weeks and u couldnt see anything except the sack. then i went back at 9 weeks and there was a little baby in there.

18wks with my son where I found out we were having a boy, and 17 weeks with my daughter, but didn't know she was a girl until I did one of those 3d ultrasounds at 29 weeks..
