it was the second one for me, since I was six mos. along and had a lot of pressure on my bladder.

I had 15 ultrasounds done (high rosk PG) I would say the later ones are the worse, the pressure on a full belly is horrible even when you dont have a full bladder it feels like it because of the baby and then the doppler on top of that

sheesh, 2 out of 3 been bad for me, and I have another coming up here in the next couple of weeks. ugh. My first was transvaginal so you don't have to have a full bladder.
The second I did wet myself a little, both 2nd & 3rd my bladder was so full it was pushing on my intestines and made me have to poo a little as well. But the third one my poor girl was completely squished up into my rib cage the only thing the doctor could see was a the top of her head, 2 fists and 2 feet as there was no room for her to move and she was bent completely in half. So after checking my placenta, which is why I'm having so many, he had me empty my bladder so she could move back down into view and he could go ahead and get her measurements while he was there.

All of them. All of my ultrasounds were in the morning, so I just didn't go to the bathroom when I woke up. First morning pees are the worst. I had to pee so bad that it hurt. But hey, it saved me from having to down a bunch of fluid right before my appointment.

Probably the first one. It hurt so bad to hold it in I actually felt sick to my stomach, but like you said it was worth it. Since then I have never drank as much water as they say and there was always plenty in my bladder when I got there.

The second at 3 months. I seriously thought that I was going to wet myself. Then they said that it was too full and gave me a styrofoam cup and said to only let out this much...that was brutal to try and stop the flow. But you are right...its really worth it to see teh baby.

Goodness...The one they did when I was about 4 months along. This is the one where they can tell the sex and they also do all the measurements to check for deformities. It was awful. They told me to drink as much water as possible and not go to the bathroom. Let me tell ya'...I have never had to go so bad in my life. But like you said it is all worth it!!!
