The "transition" phase is the final few centimeters of dilating right before you begin pushing. (From about 8 to 10 cm.) It usually goes fairly quickly, but is described by many moms as the most intense part of labor. This is the point when many moms think, "I can't do this!" but the good news is that it means it's almost over!

It's 7-10 cm and it's the shortest part of labor.

With my last baby transition lasted about 10mins
