Pregnancy - January 2007

I had unprotected sex a couple of months back. My period is late this month (only by one day but I'm always soooo regular) but I did have my period the other couple of months. Can you still get your period in the first couple months of pregnancy?

I have put on a lot of weight around my stomach, but that's where I always put weight on and I have an addiction to Starbucks and beer. My boobs look and feel normal and I haven't experienced nausea or anything like that.

Somebody talk to me ... I'm freaking out here ...

Don't tell me to take a pregnancy test; I know I should take a pregnancy test but it's 2:30am so can't do anything about it now.

I weigh a little over a 100 lbs. and 5'7 and am trying to plan my future. I want to have children but have apprehensions about childbirth. Does it actually matter how much you weigh or body structure? My hips are the actually only thing that are womanly.

Ok, this is a bit hard to explain, but i'll be short with it.

I had my period Oct 20th, then Nov 17th. In December, I should've gotten my period on the 15th according to my cycles, but I didn't. I had unprotected sex twice between the 19th and the 29th. Today (Jan 5th) I started spotting (very dark brown, not to heavy but noticeable). I am not really cramping like I normally do with my period. I have been very tired lately, sore breasts, and overall just feel 'ick' so to speak. Do you think i'm pregnant, or I just had one of those odd cycles and am actually having a normal period? Thanks

I have an iud and I have all the symptoms of being pregnant. I have taken two pregancy test and came out negative. I am two weeks late with my period. Could it be possible that I am pregnant even if the pregnancy test has been negative.

Ok First and Formost. If you are going to answer the question with "YOU NEED TO GO TO THE ER RIGHT NOW" then please don't bother answering the question because that doesn't help me one bit.

I had an exam today to see how soft my cervex was and if I were effaced. After the exam I was bleeding which my midwife said was normal after a cervex exam. What I want to know is should I still be bleeding almost 11 hours later?! It's not a heavy bleeding and it's more like when I wipe there is blood. So Is this normal?!

Also would an exam cause back pains and stomach cramping?! I'm not dilated but my cervex is soft and I am effaced a little so I know I'm not in labor, any ideas!?

Again please don't answer my question by telling me to go to the ER because I am sure if the bleeding I had earlier wasn't normal my midwife would have taken care of it and my child is still a little ball of energy.

We are finding out friday if it is a boy or girl.. I thought about having them over for cake and have the cake tell it all. Like have the cake say It's a boy/girl.

on and around my tailbone. It hurts so bad sometimes it brings tears to my eyes. It hurts to walk, sit, lay, I just cant do anything without the pain. Is this normal or something that I should ask my doctor about?

Performed 2 home preg tests already and it came out positive. I intend to visit an ob gyne this weekend but im anxious to know (and obviously cant wait) that if im already 7 weeks pregnant, then why don't i feel any of those popular pregnancy symptoms when im supposed to already. e.g. morning sickness, cravings, fatigue and sleepiness....

I was told yesterday that my unborn baby had died as there was no heartbeat detected at 7 weeks. They seem to think that i am supposed to be 11 weeks due to the date of my last menstrual period. However, my periods have been erratic for months and I have changed countries twice this year, so my cycle is also disrupted due to jetlag. (they were 22 hour flights)
I only got my first pregnancy symptoms 2-3 weeks ago (nausea and sore and growing breasts) - the nausea has stopped but my breasts still feel sore and are still enlarged.
Could they be wrong about this, or am I wrong to get my hopes up. Should I wait to have a miscarriage or just go ahead with the D and C? Thank you..

I went to the OBGYN to make sure I wasnt pregnant and the test came back neg and when she checked to see if my bladder was enlarged she said no...theres no sign of pregnancy... last time i had sex was dec 17 was it to early? could she be wrong?
