Sounds like theres no signs, no its not too early.

She checked to see if the uterus was enlarged, iam assuming that was via a pelvic exam.

Its pretty hard to be wrong with all that.

Its not too early, but if you dont have your period within the normal time frame, you should probably check again just to make sure.
blood tests are much more accurate. I had gone to the doctor for something else and they gave me a prescrition that would be dangerous to take if you were pregnant (I didnt think I was because I was on the pill) so they did a blood test. By the time I got home, they had called to say DO NOT take the medicine because I was 5 days pregnant. ( and they were right on the day because that was the last time my husband and I had had sex).

There is always a small chance she was wrong, but prob ably not. And if you dont want to get pregnant... always always always use a condom.

As with any tests there are false positives and false negatives. No human being is always right. Take another pregnancy test and if you get a negative and are still worried go back to the doctor. Believe it or not there are many things that can stop a period besides pregnancy. Here are a few: stress, calcium deficiency, excessive exercise (some female athletes stop having periods)...

What kind of test was taken? Urine or blood because blood is more accurate.
