I would say no. I know it is hard to get over a miscarriage. I had one over 10 years ago and I still wonder about my unborn child, even though I have 4 wonderful children.

The earliest doctors have been able to register pain for a fetus is around 20-24 weeks gestation.

I don't think your miscarried baby felt pain.

Since we don't know what causes miscarriages most of the time, it's hard to say if they would feel pain regardless. Like, maybe it doesn't hurt when undeveloped parts stop working.

Honestly it may or may not have. It depends on if the brain was developed enough to even process what was going on. I dont personnaly think it felt anything, seeing that the brain would die before the body, resulting in no pain. I am sorry for your loss and am happy to hear you have a healthy child now, now all you can do is focus on the best for this child.

I don't think so, especially since nerves send the pain message to the brain and I don't think nerves are formed/connected until much later in pregnancy. If it was a blited ovum (sp?) then definately not b/c the baby wasn't even formed yet, just the egg sac was formed.

Why would you even dwell on something like this? You need to get over it....even God can't change the past. It just happened and no one can ever know that answer.
