hey there my best mates got 20month old twins. a boy and a girl and faternal twins run in ya familly.
faternal twins can be diffrent genders and they can look very diffrent from each other as they have diffrent dna as they are from two seperate eggs relesed from the mothers ovaries.
Fraternal twins develop when two eggs are fertilized by two sperm. This type of twin pregnancy can result in 2 boys, 2 girls or one of each. They can be as similar or different as others brothers and/or sisters born to the same parents at different times.
While they don't share an identical genetic code, fraternal twins do share a special bond. If prenatal experiences mean anything, sharing the same womb must certainly create some sort of bond. But beyond that, they're almost the same exact age, if they grow up in the same home (as most do) they share the same environment, so they have circumstantially bonded from the start!

They are fraternal, meaning they started as two seperate eggs and two seperate sperm. Each baby has its own bag. In identical twins, they start as one sperm/ one egg and split. They stay in the same bag and share the same genes.
