I think I may be pregnant but at the same time I'm really hoping I am so this may just be false hope. The only thing that seems unusual to me besides a late period, is how often I have dizzy spells. I took a pregnancy test that came back negative (I'm hoping I took the test too early). Has anyone else experienced dizzy spells or the feeling of being faint and ended up pregnant?

Yup. I felt all the same things. I took 4 home pregnancy tests, which all showed negative. It wasn't until I went to the doctor that I got a postitive. I now have a beautiful 9 month old!
Apparently the my HGC levels were too low to register on the home pregnancy test...

I have had that symptom. Infact, it's how I learned I was pregnant. I was about 2 days late for my period and not suspecting anything since it could have been delayed due to stress or something. That day I nearly fainted at work. Company policy is that if something like that happens they make you go to the emergency room right away to get checked out. While in the ER they ran a bunch of blood tests and came in to tell me I was pregnant. I was thrilled! Give it a few more days then test again and maybe you will get a positive. Good Luck!

Being dizzy and faint is totally normal for being pregnant. Because of the higher blood volume in pregnancy, your blood has a higher likelihood of pooling around your feet.
As long as it doesn't happen more than once every couple of weeks, it's nothing to be concerned about.
Yes, though, this could be a symptom of pregnancy.

Yes, dizziness was my first symptom with my pregnancy. I'm 6 weeks along. I am betting you are pregnant. An early congrats to you.
Take another test, try First Response, it has a very low sensitivity for hCG!

The first time that I was pregnant, I felt weak and dizzy a lot. But different people experience different symptoms of pregnancy....

I was dizzy a week before I miss my period . take another test. first response is a good one but if it's negative and you still experience the same feeling go to your Dr to take a blood test.

You shouldn't feel dizzy or faint while pregnant, that is a sign of anema, not pregnancy.
