Hey everyone,
I am 32 weeks pregnant with baby number 3 and I feel like I could go into labour at any time. The baby has been head first for the past 3 weeks and I have already started to dilate. With my first 2 children my son was a normal 9 hour labour at 39 weeks and my daughter was a quick labour at 55 minutes at only 36 weeks.
What Im mostly worried about is the fact my pelvis is very painfulas the baby has been sitting there for at leasted 2 weeks so there is alot of pressure. I am also experancing braxston hicks every 15-20 mins. Sometimes they will completely stop me in my tracks but other times its bearable but I notice everyone.

Has anyone else experanced this sort of thing? I find it hard to do my nesting and run after my other two kids so any surgestions would be muchly appriated.

Thank you for your time.

I would say you definantly need to take it easy.I would think bed rest would be best, especially because of how long you still have.My son was born 3 wks early and was fine, but every situation is different.I had alot of pressure and alot of braxton hicks, and all I could do was bear it.Ofcourse little did I know I was carrying a 9lb baby.If you have someone that could help during the day with your other children that way you can stay off your feet as much as possible and prolong labor.I hope things go well for you.

That exact same thing happened to me around the same time...its really painful because the baby is sitting on your pelvis. Since you've had 2 other children, its common for this to happen but there is nothing wrong. I had my baby 2 weeks early because of it...but she was completely healthy and happy. She was just in a hurry to see mommy! The contractions are normal and they will probably get worse the closer you get to your due date, Its painful and uncomfortable, but its okay. Just try not to do too much. I was put on bedrest for two weeks just so the baby wouldn't be premature, but it was only a precaution, nothing serious. So good luck to you and don't worry. The only time you have to worry is if the baby doesn't move very often. Then just contact your dr. Congrats to you and good luck.

Sounds like you are getting ready for another fast delivery sweetheart.. take it easy and try to get as much rest as possible.. I believe alcohol can slow down the frequency of braxton hicks , can you get help with the kids ? .. have a brandy or two ... for medicinal purposes and stay in bed .... you want the baby to stay inside as long as possible .. but firstly see your caregiver Good Luck

i couldn't tell you from experience because everything for me happened in a few days. But some people get their labor symptoms weeks before they actually go into labor. This happened to a friend of mine. You should definitely talk to your doctor to make sure.
