yes, it is!!!

An infection occurs when bacteria from your intestinal tract travels from your rectum up your urethra to your bladder, where it can cause cystitis or just continue to multiply in your urinary tract without causing any symptoms (a condition called asymptomatic bacteriuria). In either case, the bacteria may continue to travel up the ureters and cause a kidney infection, a serious condition that can lead to premature labor and other complications.

You are usually hospitalized when you have this type of infection during pregnancy.

It can be since it affects what filters everything. It can lead to diabetes, and toxic chemicals to not filter properly out of your system. If you think you have a kidney infection go to the ER at once. it will be fine if you catch it early, but late, you could harm your baby or kill yourself, and your unborn child. Good luck.

A KIDNEY INFECTION IS INDEED NOT DANGEROUS WHEN YOU ARE PREGNANT. IT IS THE MEDICATIONS THAT THEY GIVE YOU THAT CAN CAUSE THE SERIOUS PROBLEMS. BE CAREFUL AND GET MANY OPINIONS ON THE DRUG THEY GIVE YOU TO TREAT IT. FOR EXAMPLE WHEN MY MOM WAS PREGNANT WITH MY BROTHER SHE HAD A BAD KIDNEY INFECTION AND THE DRUG THEY GAVE HER MADE MY BROTHER HAVE A BIRTH DEFECT. HE WAS BORN WITHOUT A HIP SOCKET AND HAD TO ENDURE MANY SURGERIES AND BE IN A FULL BODY CAST UNTIL A YEAR OLD. GOOD LUCK AND ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS AND GET MORE OPINIONS.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.
