Pregnancy - January 2007

I was just wondering, im 6 weeks well a little over 6 weeks,( have had + at home test and blood test from dr.) and i do not feel pregnant, I dont have morning, noon or night sickness, once in a while when i get up at 5am to see my hubby off to work i feel a little sick but i think its because i dont have any food in my stomache. anyways i dont seem to have frequent urination, no cravings, no breat tenderness ( had for about 2 weeks then went away) The only thing i do have is mood swings and i seem to be more tired in the evenings. Is this normal does everyone get those symptoms? or lack there of or will they come later. Not that im complaining about not being sick by any means! I just expected to. any information from women going through pregnacy or that have already went though this is apreciated. Thank you.

Also we are very excited about the pregnancy!!

i had my period on december 20 last month and im supposed to get it around january 17-20.. ok im freaking out and i might be pregnat.. but is it possible to start taking birth control pills this late and not be pregnat?

My hubby will be gone with work until the end of october and we are due in july. He cant come home, so I am wondering how long I should take maternity leave for. I cant decide since I will only have my mom to help for one month and I do have a full time job. My job gives me 12 weeks all of wich are unpaid. I dont need to work but I feel obligated to come to work. Do many women go back to work early and raise 2 children by themselves. I am kind of scared since last time I had my hubby to help. I am worried about the new baby not having good sleeping patterns and me suffering at work. what do you think? How soon should I go back to work?

I shouldn't be getting bigger yet, should I?? I hate it! This is my first and I don't understand. I feel fat! I haven’t changed my eating habits. Should I be getting bigger this soon? I was told I wouldn’t notice any changes for quite sometime yet.

I would like to take 8 weeks, is that too much time? I just found out my insurance will cover 5 weeks which is great. I can afford to go 3 weeks without the pay. But is it going to look bad to my employers if i do that? I think legally I can take 12 weeks. Just wondering what other people are planning on doing? any suggestions?

i have a question, that i have been hopeing someone else would ask, just to see if i was the only one or not, i havent seen it so i will just go a head and ask it. ok in late late oct. i started noticeing that i couldnt hear to well out of my right ear, started getting worryed a bit, but wasnt bad, well i started hearing my heat beat in my ear ALL the time, started to drive me banana's so at my next with with my OB/GYN i asked her about it, seeing if maybe it was pregnancy related, i know that sometimes you get weird things when your pregnant. she said that it wasnt and i needed to go talk to my regular doc, so i made an appointment and seen her, i asked her about it and she said it was one of the tubes in my sineces that was partly clogged from an infection, maybe like a cold i never really cought. she said it will take anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks tell it went away, well its jan and i still have it.... i was just curious to see if anyone else had something like this happen while prego.

I am 19 weeks pregnant. since i was 14 i ate about half a plate of food three times a day and was FULL. but in the past few weeks, I eat a normal sized plate of food and I am still hungry. it feels like i am hungry 24/7... i wake up at 3 am to pee and because i am hungry... i ate a bowl of cereal this morning for breakfast at 9 then i was hungry at 11 so ate a snadwich, and now at 12:15 i am hungry again!!! why is this, and does anyone have any ideas on how to curb my hunger... i dont want to get HUGE with my baby....

and have a husband im not in a bad situation this baby is a blessing i asked for advice not a freakin judgment. i am looking foward to staying home with my baby im just use to workin and even though i have a husband with a good job im just use to having money of my own coming in. for all the people who gave non judgemantal advise thank you but for the losers who didn't and you know who you are once again kiss my ***.

Our honeymoon was during my ovulation time nearly 3 weeks ago.
Last week I started feeling dizzy, light headed, a little sick to my stomach, and started aching everywhere. Also had odd cramps in my lower abdomen and breasts are really sore around the nipple. The cramping continued for a few more days (pms like) and have since stopped.
I have been extremely tired also. It's been really difficult for me to wake up in the morning and I've been falling asleep really early. So, the time for my period has come and gone. Instead, I seemed to have increased discharge. I took 2 preg tests 2 days ago (one at night, one the next mornig) and they were negative. I thought I would probably start yesterday and didn't and the pms cramps have since subsided. The preg tests I took were the same brand (First Response). Should I try again next week with a different brand? I feel stupid going to the DR for a blood test when I haven't had a positive urine test.

I am 9 to 9 1/2 weeks pregnant and i just had a ultrasound of my baby done and the doc. said everything looked find......has anyone ever had a ultrasound done and everything be fine but still misscarried???

Okay, I actually have 2 questions....first, my period was late and my boobs hurt so I got a blood test done and it was positive. But I don't feel pregnant and my boobs don't hurt anymore. Is it heard of to have a false positive BLOOD TEST?
My second question is, I heard there was a way to roughly determine how far along you are by your hcG? When I had the test done it said 69.9. My appointment with the OB isn't until the 8th but I want a rough estimate now! Hah, can anyone help?

I am in my 5th month i did start feeling the flutters quite many times during the day n nights.But when i read few queries on the net n even in few of my answered asked questions every where the mention is we get to feel flutters when we turn to the side .But for me it is both sides and even when i lie on my back .Infact i start feeling immedeately when i am sleeping on my back .SO am i fine is it normal ?I feel it more when i am on my back i do feel it when i lie on sides but like i said more n no sooner i am on my back.Can someone tell me if it is fine ?

I went to the doctors yesterday cause I was afraid my water was leaking (first pregnancy so I am a lil nervous) As soon as one of my doctors came in I have four differnet ones. The first thing that came out of her mouth was the babys rate of survival is really low if the baby was born now.She was really rude! This is the first time I have seen her so she doesnt know anything about the health of my baby I just had a sonogram done last week and he was four and half pounds.I love all the other doctors that work there but I cant stand her. I dont even think that is true I have heard and read at 31 weeks the baby has a 85 percent chance of survurving. Anyone of the doctors could delevier my baby is there any way to prevent her from deleveing mine? I really dont want to have to switch. But I just thought she was rude and why would you say that to someone who is worried!

okay please don't say any rude comments and just try to undersand !! I think i'm pregnant and i go to the doctor office but then i just turn around because i feel like i'm just being stupid because i have had like 5 negative test.I would be 6 to 7 months along right now.what scares me is that i haven't had my period ( i had something like that in oct. though) i have some viginal discharge more some days then other... i really just blow it off because I get negative test.. but I can feel it moving ( and i know its not gas) it goes crazy and jumps everywhere... it feels like a heartbeat( not saying its a heartbeat it just feels like it ) my stomach is really hard the top of it and al around my belly button .. i need someone to straightin this out for my i'm only 18 and i left my ex boyfriend months ago.... am i in denial about being pregnant? this feeling is just hard to ignore... please tell me what i should do.. thank you

I only have 5 more weeks to go, but last night I started having horrible back and leg pain. I know its not contractions, but i tried to take a warm bath and tylenol. It didnt help. Before I went to sleep I even laid on a heating pad. Any suggestions?

I had a misscarriage in July and took it really hard as I'm sure everyone else has. It just seemed that everyone called me to tell me they are pregnant right after it happened. Im happy for my best friend knowing that they have been trying for years...but another friend where we would have been due days apart I find I'm not truely happy for (she has no clue thank god) she said it was a mistake and they weren't even trying, so I feel jelous that someone who was not trying is having special gift. How do I get over this.

I will be 34 weeks pregnant on Saturday.
I have been feeling this sudden sharp pain/sensation in my vagina like my water is gonna break or like i'm going to pee in my pants.(it's hard to explain the pain) i also feel soar between my legs, could my cervix be opening or why am i feeling these pains?
any helpful answers would be greatly appreciated.

i didn't feel this with my 1st pregnancy. as a matte r of fact, they broke my water at the hospital and it just felt like a lot of pressue was being released.. that is how it kinda feels when i say sharp vaginal pain.. like my water is gonna break..

I stopped it about 2 weeks ago and am not feeling like withdrawal is kicking in: a couple of crying spells, feeling depressed, diarrea, neausea. I know this sounds like pregnancy symptoms too, but I have stopped my meds before and have had these symptoms.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Im 25 and I am pregnant with a much younger boyfreinds child. We had been together for 1.5 years. I have allready had an abortion which was terriable last year because I felt then that he was not old enough. We split yesterday because I found he was cheating me, I have my own house, a great managerial job and my fellow collegues have all said they would support me. SHould I have it ? SHould I tell im ? Im a bit confused. Ive just got myself out of debt as well and I know that I will have to sell my house to get someting smaller I was planning this away before I found out I was pregnant. I dumped him because I found out her was with someone else who was a lot younger than him. We were happy so I thought but obvisouly not. HELP ? What do I do. At my OB appointment on Tuesday, my doctor told me that she doens't expect me to have the baby until a couple days after my due date or possibly even a week or two after, since I am a first time mom. She also said it was normal to have a baby after the due date and most women do. If I wanted to induce my labor the week of my due date, is there anything I can do that is a sure-fire way to work? Not saying that I do, but i don't want to have to go another two weeks after my due date (Jan. 27th) if I don't have to. I know babies come when they are ready, but I'm just curious.
