It sounds like the cervix pain and the readjustment of your body getting ready for its future job. The muscles start relaxing and stretching. This always hurt me too. You need to lay down and get off your feet for a few hours each day, This will give the baby room to move off what ever nerves she is laying on. It will also take the pressure off .

I have had the sharp pains like you experienced in my fourth pregnancy and was told it was the ligaments stretching and your body getting ready for labor which could be days or weeks.
I had my water break on its own twice and I had a contraction, a pop, a trickle, then a gush. So it might not be your water trying to break.
The baby could also be getting into position for labor( head starting to go down).
But always ask your doctor if you are concerned.
Congratulations you don't have to long to go.

I have the same kind of pain between my legs, I am too 34 weeks. My dr. said it was some kind of chemical when your body relaxes, cant remember what it is called. I have been having these pains since i was about 31 weeks along. Who knows maybe your water might break.

Intense cramping, especially when you are in the home stretch, is normal. I had the worst time of it with my first. I had six weeks of intense cramps and Braxton Hicks.
It is possible (in fact it seems highly likely) that your cervix is "ripening." That is to say, your cervix is thinning out and becoming softer. You may find that you are in for a short labour and delivery.
Talk to your obstetrician or midwife, but they will more than likely tell you that there is nothing to be concerned about.

i started feeling that about two weeks before my daughter was born..the doc said it is just your body preparing for what is about to happen to it...i dont know if it means that your water will break, like you, mine was broken in the hospital..but as long as they dont turn into contractions, i wouldnt worry..if you have one of those big bouncy yoga balls try sitting on that..it helps by releasing some of the pressure..good luck!! hope the pain gets better or brings the baby :)
