As a father of 4 children, and having been also fully involved in the delivery of all my children, I am inclined to give you some advice, considering that you are in the 5th month and very apprehansive. As I didnt know, I asked my wife the meaning of flutters and she also didn't know. Who is programming you with these words? I would suggest you take your pregnancy easy. Don't care for these large words which do not appear to not carry any meaning. Discomfort is a part of pregnancy and ordinarily has to be taken with a smile. When your child is born and you see his smiling face and hear his first cry, you will understand that flutters and discomfort and all the words you are using now are actually words redundant; words with no meaning at all. Wishing you a happy delivery after anothe 4 months.

Hi,

It is quite normal. U will feel flutters on either side when u sleep and also when u sleep on your back.

If you are getting back pain, then i would suggest you to do walk at least 30 mins everyday.

All the best!!!!

COMPLETELY fine. I promise. Your feeling him/her whereever he/she is. I feel them everywhere also and always have. Nothing to worry about. Some people tell you to lay on your left side to feel them because on your left side you have the best digestion and blood circulation which causes the baby to move.

try not to lay on your back to much, it can put pressure on a major vein that will cause you to get lightheaded and maybe even pass out when you stand. No worries again though

Your baby's muscular development is rapid, and there's a lot of amniotic fluid and space to move around - so movements can be very active at times.

The "flutters" are your first baby movements. They will soon turn into kicks and punches.

The baby is just moving more, stretching, your fine, as you go along he or she will move more and even start to kick.

Movement! Yeah! Try not to lay on your back, its uncomfortable for the baby because he/she is laying on your spine.
