can I relieve this? what is causing this? It cant be stretching skin cuz I had no itch all day, then poof! At night Im itching like made. I bathedand creamed....then showered and creamed....could it be something i ate? allergies coming out of my skin? Im soooo itchy!!!! How can I relieve this? Is this even pregnancy related??

Here's the situation: I'm 3 weeks 'late' and have been getting a few symptoms of early stages of pregnancy. I know the only way to find out for sure is to test, which I will be doing this Friday. I'd do it sooner but I promised my partner I'd wait for him.
Anyway...
Before the possibility of pregnancy arised (it's not been a planned thing), I had been smoking, drinking and even dabbled in a few other substances. I know the risks associated with that and I've not done anything since knowing that there's a chance that a child is involved so please don't lecture me on that one.
I also don't plan on carrying on with any of the previously mentioned if I am pregnant/after the possible pregnancy.

My question is... How can a baby be affected by the intake (although very small amounts) of cocaine/ketamine? I only took part on 1 or 2 occassions.

Yes, I'm seeing a doctor ASAP but I was just wondering if anyone knew the effects of drugs on unborn children?

Please, no lecturing!

I just found out today that I am expecting. I am so excited but worried that I may have hurt my baby because I was smoking and have drank a few times before I knew. I won't smoke anymore or drink, but I know first trimester very important and it's my first so at higher risk to misscarry. Anyone have advice or similar situation happen? I want a healthy baby and am scared I hurt them before I even knew about them.

we have 2 children 2 boys ages 4 and 2 and i am pregnant with my third it would be nice to have a girl but if it is a boy i will still be happy but dont know if i will want to try again for a girl in a few years time my partner would like the snip but only if him and i agree 100% should we wait until we find out the sex of this third baby before we make any major choices thanks and be nice to me plz

I am 36.5 weeks pregnant with my second child. Monday night I was overwhelmed with a burst of energy to re-clean the house, re-arrange my child's bedroom and finish packing my bags for the birthing center. Later that night I began to feel slight contractions that were too irregular to note to my midwife. So after awhile of tossing and turning, I fell asleep and woke up feeling fine, the contractons had stopped. Tuesday went smoothly, I still had a bit of the energy left so I finished all the daily chores as usual. Then last night around eight o'clock the contractions started and that time they were more painful, but still irregular. I went to bed around 10pm and awoke around 2am to contractions and a backache. I've been up ever since. Still having contractions, they're even more painful and they're finally starting to keep. I've been timing them and they're about every 7 minutes, however, I've only been timing them for about a half hour. What do you think is going on??

i need some baby boy names (as i want a boy).
I have hundreds of girl names but cant think of any boy names.
I dont want anything to far out there, i like the names to be slightly non common but not way too different.
So i need names and meanings, this will be my forth and last so if theres a name to match that then great.
Any ideas?? Please?

Throughout my 3rd pregnancy my measurements were ALWAYS bigger than my dates
The hospital kept saying that I was having an average size baby and not to worry- I knew this baby was larger than my 2nd as the movements I was feeling were stronger and I just had a gut feeling!
My daughter weighed in @ 9lb 15oz- so you could understand my concerns about my awaiting arrival!!
Eventually I gave birth to my son 2 WEEKS EARLY and my 'average' size baby weighed 10lb 12oz!!!!

I miss my period.. its already a month late..but pregnancy test said negative..i only tried one..the only signs im having is that i lost about 15pounds..without eating less or exercises..latelly tired but i do stay up late..like 3am sleepabout 8 or 9 hours then go do daily things but now im late..and sleeping 13 hours on saturday or sunday..no other signs im confuse should i go to the doctor is losing weight a sign of being pregnant

well im pregnant with my boyfriends baby (6 weeks 3 days) and he knows about it as he came with me when i got it approved.

he is also comming to every appointment that i have. (we have our first ultrasound Feb 20)

do you think he will ask me to marry him? if so when do you think?

we have been dating for almost 3 years and we have both been trying for this baby, we both agreed to it and we both want one.

I had my tubes tied 14 years ago and now my (2nd) husband and I want a baby. I had a child with my 1st husband but he made me get my tubes tied (either that or divorce). Since I can't conceive naturally my husband has said he wants to get another girl pregnant. He said it would just be sex, no emotions attached and only for the pregnancy. He says it is not fair to him that we can't have a baby together via natural means. He knew I had my tubes tied when we met. I keep trying to tell him there are ways for us to have a baby (IVF, surrogacy, etc.) but he doesn't want to wait. I am confused about what to do. I could love a baby that was his, but I am having a hard time with the conception process he has suggested. What should I do?

I just found out that I am pregnant. I am pro-choice, but find that I don't think I can go through with an abortion. I feel I will regret it very much. I don't want to have one and regret it for the rest of my life. I already feel so attached to my baby. I think I would would be a great mother, but is it too early to have a baby?I have a supportive partner, but we don't have very much money. I am still in college and planned on having a career as a psychologist. how long would i have to put school off for? I really need help, I don't know what to do. I am so torn!

38 weeks 2 days to be exact...I've been dilated 1 1/2 for 2 weeks, 60% effaced, he's dropped, I have had loose stools, crampiness, have had mild to painful braxton hicks everyday for over 2 weeks, and have really really sharp pains on my cervix....now this sounds (and feels) like labor is right around the corner...any stories or thoughts, cause I feel like my labor is never going to start, I'm so miserable.

Okay so my best friend thinks she is having a miscarriage...she went to the doc today because she had a positive pregnancy test on saturday, but sunday she started bleeding and it has gotten heavier as the days have passed. The doc took a blood test, it was still positive, but she told me tonight the cramping has gotten worse. She is supposed to go back to the doc on Thurs. Would she be cramping and in pain if she were having a miscarriage this early in pregnancy...at this point she would be about 4 weeks pregnant.

So, im not over weight...but i gained a few pounds recently. I need to lose ten pounds as quick as i can, and i have about two weeks to do it. I will do anything but starve or puke! Im not into that stuff but anything you guys can tell me or ways you did it would be a miracle!

i am 37 weeks pregnant...last week i had sex with my hubby. we had oral sex, and he had some allergy or food infection on his lips, after two days i have got same kind of problem around my vagina, i dont have itching sensation..but i have severe burning sensation and something like pimples have appeared aroung vagina.....i am not able to walk or sleep, due to the burning sensation..i have started using antiseptic lotion...but dont know whether it is going to work out....

what my concern is, is it going to harm my baby...what should i do now..i am really scared....i was not able to sleep properly..please help me...

We did use protection but i don`t use any pills. I did bath 3 times in dettol but my stomach is swolling and my boobs is a little bit swore and sometimes i get cramps. I`ts 2 weeks ago when it happened. Can i be pregnant?? Or is it the sex afterwards simptoms? I didn`t test myself for pregnancy and when can i do that, to make sure. I`m really really worried that i could be pregnant??
