Honestly it could be either. You may just be late again this month...a period is not like clockwork and it can change all the time in different ways. From the time it comes to how long it stays. If your worried about being pregnant then you should go and get/take a pregnancy test to find out for sure or just wait till it comes this month.

If you had what you know as a regular period before, then you count your cycle from the first day of bleeding, which will tell you when your next due on roughly. It doesnt matter if your overdue and it starts the next month, you must count from the first day to get a rough idea of when you'll next be due on.
If however it is over due, then there's no harm in testing, as long as you have been at the risk of falling pregnant. Eg; no contraceptives and frequent, regular intercourse. If you havent been at risk at its over due, wait till 2 weeks over and visit your doc, he will help you find out what is causing this. Sometimes it just happens, (as much of a pain as it can be) or there is a hormone imbalance. Remember stress and weight loss or gain can affect whem your period starts too, so dont worry and see what time brings.....

Anything is possible - not to be blunt - but yup if your having sex - even protective - there will always be a chance you might be pregnant.
But so many things affect a period - exercise can throw it off a few days, and so can stress. if you are stressing about your period starting then you can actually be delaying it too. Once I was so stress out about starting my period, that I was late. I went out and bought a pregnancy test and it was negative, i was so relived - even though I knew it would have been too soon to even tell - that I honestly started my period two hours later... and I swear I am not lying. Stress can do crazy stuff to your body.
try not to think about the pregnant thing until a few more weeks, if you still haven't gotten it - then I would and buy a test...

I was never on time. I could go from 4 weeks to 6 weeks before getting mine. But if you have had a physical relationship you could be pregnant. Get an over the counter test at the pharmacy and check to be sure.

The answer could go either way. A lot can depend on how old you are, whether you are sexually active.& what type of birth control you are on. If you are concerned about being pregnant, go buy an early prenancy test. Either way, you will know. Then you can take an action if nessasary

Bottom line: IF YOU HAVE TO ASK, YOU SHOULDN'T BE HAVING SEX
Take a test. All you people that wonder, if you're having sex, its a possibility. Go to the doctor, whatever. And remember, that if you gained or lost a lot of weight, or started exercising or a numerous amount of other factors could make you miss a period.

I've heard that women that live with other women will change their menstraul cycles to match that of the other woman over time. Has there been a woman living with you recently or spending a lot of time with them?
