what do these contractions actually feel like, do they hurt as much as normal contractions??

I am 3 cm and 50% effaced. She did a little stripping of the membranes. Ever since I have been really crampy and having some spotting then some brownish colored mucus stuff come out. I thought I had lost my mucus plug but now I'm not so sure?? Do anyone have any ideas? is it normal to spot after and exam like that? Only serious answers please!! Thanks!

Me and my bf have been together for 3 years, we are both excited about the pregnancy and we have been very close this whole time. These past couple weeks though he seems distant. He goes hunting every weekend and makes it seem like it's a big deal to stay home cause there is nothing to do( I know hanging with a pregnant chick isn't the most fun you can have..lol.) He isn't going hunting anymore because he knows how close I am. I didn't mind him going because I know he won't be able to do that again for sometime. He's trying to spend time with me I know but we just haven't been that close or intimate(which is partly my fault). Do you think he is just getting nervous about becoming a daddy or what?

I have been sexually active for only about 2 and a half months..
((been with him for over a year now))
He is my first && I am his first. We have had unprotected sex everytime we have done it && he has never pulled out.
&& for the last two months my period hasnt been normal, but I have still had it. Normally its a full 7 days && its only be about 4 days long. I have spotted some. No sore breasts or anything like that..but I have gotten sick && my back hurts.. I know it is possible to have your period && still be pg.. I havent taken a test or anything because I have gotten my period every time..&& I havent acted like I was pg other than the sickness && my back hurting.. I know the wise thing to do would be go to the doctor..But my boyfriend is going to be gone for a couple days && I would rather wait until he returns before I do anything..Any advice? Is it more than likely that I am pg?

I'm 25 and 5 weeks pregnant. It seems to get worse at night time and my nipples stick out a lot. It's a little embarrassing - I'm kinda hoping this doesn't happen during the day at work (scared to look)! Also, extreme tiredness is killing me, all I do is yawn. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!

I can't stop smoking when I was pregnant with my daughter the site of smoking made me sick but this go round i may throw up but that it i still want to smoke. what can i do.

We are trying to conceive. Today I am 7 days past ovulation (dpo), and its too early to take a pregnancy test.

1 dpo No cramping
2 dpo No cramping
3 dpo Very little cramping at night
4 dpo Cramping and sore abdomen
5 dpo A lot of cramping and sore abdomen
6 dpo No cramping and sore abdomen
7 dpo No cramping and sore abdomen

I also have had sore nipples and NO bleeding at all.

So I had the major cramping on 4 dpo and 5 dpo. No real cramping after that.

Is this normal before your period (PMS) or could this be implantation cramps? My period is due a week from now.

My husband is scheduled to go out of town on Dec. 16th and wont be back until late Dec. 17th Because his brother is leaving to go back home to mexico and he wants to say bye and pick up some things in Virginia. But I also have ulterior motives I am so ready to have this baby I wish I was in Labor now. I would like to know what can I do or take (that will not harm the baby or me) to self induce the labor sooner. I only want suggestions that have worked preferably from women that have done them. What insurance companies will pay for birth control? I'm on it because my periods are out of wack and I also want to prevent pregnancy before I become sexually active. I can't drive, don't have a job, and will be takin' off my medical I have now. It only pays for the doctor visits. So, my gyno had to give me a sample of loestrin lo. I use to medical through welfare (though I'm not proud). I'm 19 and still live at home. Please help! I only have 30 days to get a new insurance!

i had an abortion 4 months ago and went straight onto the pill. I had my periods but they were very light compared to before. I have taken the pill faithfully but feeling tired and naseaous and probably sound very paranoid as i am worried i may be pregnant again. I recently turned 18 and before theres comments on murder etc, i would also like to say that i do regret it despite the situation i was/am in (A Levels). Helpful answers only please.

My husband and I want to start buying things here and there so when the baby comes we don’t have to run to the store all the time. In your experience, what did you run out of the most? What would you suggest buying now? Diapers, wipes, etc? We know to buy the bigger items, such as the crib and carseat. Suggestions? Thank you!

I am currently 31 weeks pregant with my second child.My first child will be a year old on Sunday.But today I have hardly felt my baby move just maybe once or twice.But I have had braxton hicks a few times today which I have had my whole pregnancy.Do you think it is something really serious or do you think it is normal? I am under a lot of stress as I have a 6,4,3 year old boys and a 1 year old daughter and my husband is gone for 10 days at a time out of state.So could that have something to do with it?I plan on mentioning this to my husband who will be home tonight but I really hate to go to the docter and nothing be wrong cause then I feel silly and worried for no reason.

My g/f got of birth control in june and in july she got her period on time. In august she got 2 periods in like 2 weeks and then in september she was later 1 week....now she hasnt had her period since september....is that normal after u get of birth control and how often does it happen? I am a little worried because me and her were messing around but it ahs benn like 2 3 months and no signs of pregnancy and i KNO i made a mistake.

Okay so I'm only 21 weeks tomorrow, but I was curious. How early did everyone pack their bags for the hospital and get together a list of contacts? Obviously I'm not going to pack my bag tonight, but I was just curious. One of my friends went into labor and had her little boy at 25 weeks. So I guess it's better to be prepared then not be prepared at all because you never know when your little one will come.

bloody show does labor start? I am 3-4 cm dialated and 100% efface and for 3 days now everytime I sit on the tolet I wipe and there is compleate bloody mucus on tolet paper, how much longer can this last? Im 37 weeks
