We are trying to conceive. Today I am 7 days past ovulation (dpo), and its too early to take a pregnancy test.

1 dpo No cramping
2 dpo No cramping
3 dpo Very little cramping at night
4 dpo Cramping and sore abdomen
5 dpo A lot of cramping and sore abdomen
6 dpo No cramping and sore abdomen
7 dpo No cramping and sore abdomen

I also have had sore nipples and NO bleeding at all.

So I had the major cramping on 4 dpo and 5 dpo. No real cramping after that.

Is this normal before your period (PMS) or could this be implantation cramps? My period is due a week from now.

I've had cramping and sore nipples prior to my period.. so it's a tough call. I get cramping during ovulation as well and sharp pains. Everyone is different which makes it hard to know the symptoms. Sorry to say, but you may need to wait that week to see if your period arrives. Since you're trying to conceive, I hope it works out for you!!!

hi firstly good luck. I have had wierd cramping as well for about 5 days now. It isn't as strong as my usual AF symptoms so not quite sure what it means. We bd'd all around ovulation but I am not hopeful that this is my month. Strangely for the first time in 15 years I have just felt travel sick which is really wierd for me. But have just took a test and it was a BFN. Though I think I tested too early even if I was, as I am only 11dpo.

I never felt any implantation cramping. But, my very first and absolute positive sign was nipple soreness. With both of my pregnancies, just before it was time to take a HPT I felt extreme tenderness and I knew I was preggers. Good luck.

Sorry I think it's too early to tell. I certainly wouldn't go by cramps as this could be your period coming on. Tingly breasts are a sure sign you are pregnant though - just wait a few days then do a ept. Good luck!
