The dr. gave me a sample of loestrin lo. When am I suupose to take this and what's your experience with it? What happened during the first month? Also, not to be nosey, but how do you pay for it?

you take it the first day of your period... or take it the first sunday after you get it.... the instructions that come with it should tell you more.an go from there... it made me bleed alot.. and i had to stop taking it and get another form..... take the pills to your health department and they should give you the birth control for free or little cost at all.

I am pretty sure you can start the pill anytime. Pick a certain time of day to take it. Like with breakfast, so you don't forget.

I have an IUD and my insurance paid for it. I saw your other question and if it were me, I would apply for Medicaid or go to Planned Parenthood until you can get something else.

Call Walmart.... they recently started a 4 dollar prescription program. If they don't cover this one you should ask which ones they do cover.
