ACTUALLY it's a baby that dies in the uterus past the viable fetus date, which varies by state. The average for a "viable" fetus is around 26 weeks. If a baby dies BEFORE the state's viable fetus limit, it's classed as a miscarriage. Usually when a baby dies in the uterus, they induce labor in the mother and the child is delivered dead. It's not just a baby born dead.
My mother gave birth to a stillborn infant at 36 weeks, and was induced. I have done a lot of research on it because of that fact with my mother and being scared during my pregnancies.
Good Luck to all pregnant women, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy! Anf God Bless to all those who have suffered through this.

A baby who is ful term or almost full term and is born dead. A mother can be in her 2nd or 3rd trimester and if hte baby dies inside of her, the she must give birht, which of course the abby is already dead so it is considered stillborn. Thi scan be very traumatizing for a mother. Its really hard for one to go through it. I have the experience twice so i know.

A still born baby is a baby that is birthed like any other baby in the third trimester, only the baby is dead, usually the mother still has to have the baby like any other baby its sad and traumatic.

A stillbirth occurs when a fetus, of mid-second trimester to full term gestational age, which has died in the womb or during labour or delivery, exits the maternal body.
