Not to much longer. The longest I had in between the show and labor starting was a week. I have 4 kids.

Well first of all if you are having contractions you should be in the hospital. When I lost my mucus plug it was just one wipe and that was it. Then almost 24 hours later I was in labor. I went to the hospital and I was 4 cm dialated and wasn't completely efface and they kept me. I have only had one child and she is nine months. I'm just saying what happen to me. I honetly think you need to be in the hospital. congrats and good luck!!!!

hmmm... I had sex on the morning of Sep. 2nd and immediately had bloody show, went to the hospital. Was dialated to a 4 with irregular contractions. Contractions stopped, sent me home. Water broke about 10AM Sep. 4th, went to the hospital and gave birth at 5:07PM. But bloody show can also appear for a couple of weeks before labor.

Every woman is different but I had that same mucus/pink blood for about a week before I went into labour and I was a week over due.

There is no way to know. You could do this until 41 weeks. Or you could be in the hospital tonight delivering. Make sure your bags are packed and be patient.

It sounds like you are still dilating if you have any contractions I would go to the hospital right away. It can be another week or so still but more realistically another few days. But be ready to go.

I wish there was a magic answer to this and so many other pregnancy related questions - but it really should not be very much longer...keep your car fueled up and ready to go...

Everyone is different, but you are going to have your baby soon so congratulations. I only had the show for less than a day before I had my first.

For me, it was about 12 hours after that until my son entered the world.
