Pregnancy - November 2006

I am 19 and pregnant. We were engaged b4 we found out and still happily together. What should I expect along the way?? Is labor as bad as every1 says?? That's what scares me and he's like everything will be ok. Will life ever be the same for me again?? Will he still get to live alittle?? Is it wrong to be afraid of childbirth cuz that's how my bff died??

I'm a vegetarian and 5'1 and like 100lbs. Will I ever get my gymnastics/surfing/lax/snoboarder tonedbody back??

i just found out my group b strep test came out positive.i did some research on the internet and i read every king of stuff.i am worried since i found out.whats the chance something could go wrong?anybody here had it?

She doesn´t like ginger, the lemon smell does not help.
Ginger Ale meke har feel worst. She drinks gatorade to get back the minerals lost when trowing up.
Please give me good practical advise to help her feel better.

I had my c-section 3 years ago. After many infections on the external (tummy) scar and alot of trouble with irregular heavy periods I had an internal ultrasound which found that the scar on my uterus is open (called dehisence). Gyno cant tell from the u/s if it wasnt sealed properly, if it has burst or if an infection has caused the wound to not heal properly. He has referred me on to an obstetrics surgeon and has said I will probably need the c-section to be re-opened, cleaned out then re-stitched up. He is unsure at this stage if the uterus can be saved or not.
Anyone else had this problem or something similar??

My boyfriend and I are still together. He is attending college, in Pre-med. He has a job at a clinic making 12.00 and hour and right before she is born he is getting a 1.50 raise. He wants this baby for sure, and says he will take it if I don't want to keep her. But I'm scared he wont let me see her. I'm 30 weeks pregnant at 15 years old. I am now at a school where I can graduate early and I am going to graduate in fall of 08' and year and half early. My dad got me scared that I'm going to regret keeping her because I'm going to look back on High school and regret everything.. But I do want her, that is what my heart wants. I guess I'm scared I will be like my real mom.. Crappy.. I do love her but she was more of a best friend than a mom.. I'm scared I wont give her everything she wants.. If i do give her up it will be to sombody I know.. And can see her whenever.. But I'm mixed up.. I love her so much..
Agian.. My heart tells me to keep.. My mind tells me no.. Help?

I have been in this field for a little over 8 years now. I have been having a little bit of bleeding with this pregnancy, I am 10 weeks along. My doctor examined me and said my cervix looks closed and feels firm, but he has scheduled an ultrasound for me to check the length of the cervix and also make sure baby is doing fine. My question pertains more to work, I have to do alot of lifting and transferring of clients, as they have cerebral palsy. One is much easier to help then the other and I have the go ahead to work with him as much as needed, but I do not want to make other employees feel as though I am shirking duty, however I also do not feel like informing every employee of what exactly is going on in my uterus. Any suggestions on how to handle that, or have you been in the same sort of situation? What did you do to sort of make up for the harder work that you were unable to do?

I'm totally against abortion, and this question doesn't refer to me... Just FYI.

I am curious, though, about how a mother could handle going through a pregnancy to deliver a baby who may die within the first year, or be born a parapelegic, or some of the other more severe birth defects out there.

I know that my question sounds terrible, but I've had friends who have terminated pregnancies late for this same reason... I'm pregnant right now, and I don't think that I could do that.

i am just shy of 39 weeks pregnant, i was dilated 1cm, 80% effaced, baby in station -1, and i ALREADY lost my mucus plug. i just had my membranes stripped 2 days ago adn now i am seeing this clear mucusy/ jelly-like substance when ever i wipe after going to the bathroom.
i am also having cramping in my back and sometimes it travels to my right abdomen. what does this mean?
is this an onset to contractions??

about a month and a half ago i got the birth control shot and 5 days later i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. this past week i've had to pee a lot and i have been feeling nausious, i also haven't had my period. are these symptoms because of the birth control or could i have gotten pregnant 5 days after getting the shot?

i am 37 weeks pregneant on tuesday and i want to hurry up and induce my labor. i am fixing to try castor oil. does it really work or am i just in for a very long night. If i don't end up taking the castor oil i am goin to take black cohosh. does this stuff work and if so how?

I am 30 weeks pregnant and this is my second child so I feel a little silly asking this, but here goes. What exactly do Braxton Hicks contractions feel like? Sometimes my stomach tenses up (it doesn't hurt) it just gets really hard. Then sometimes I have cramps--like period cramps. Could this be braxton hicks? If not what could it be, just another perk of pregnancy?

I didnt get my period in novemeber and i took a test but it came back neg. it was only a home test so could i still be pregnant? Should I do another home test in a week or so? or should i go to my doctors or wait to see if i get it in dec? what should I do Im not scared or anything just confused!please help

ok i have yet to actually have sex with my boyfriend, but one day we came realy close to, he put the condom on and pushed against me, but we couldnt go further cause his room mate came home.
my question is, if he accidently went to put the condom on but did it backwards at first, could he of got some stuff on there, and when he pushed against me, not even going in me could i get pregnant.
i have been so stressed about this, i am making myself late, and im too scared to go and get a test.

people please if you dont have anything nice to say dont say it.
im just a young teen who needs some reassurance.
my friends arent taking me seriously.

Doctor today confirmed tht i m pregnant through my blood test report.But she said me some 6446 code which says tht its early pregnancy stage for which she wanted to do my blood test again within 48 hours? i asked her early pregnancy means what she said that actually for.eg if code is "4" in ur case it should come double "8" but tht parameter hasnt covered and to make sure tht it is good pregnancy she wanna do it within 48 hours of my previous blood test? anyone heard of this such kind ? share someone good experience i m realy worried wht my baby is in good condition or not??????????
