I am pregnant at 19 with my b/f's kid. We have been together for four years. He agreed to stay by me. I am really scared and worried. He's calm and reassuring. Is he not worried?? Why?? Is it wrong to be worried?? WHY ISN'T HE WORRIED????????
Why doesn't he just say he's worried?? He knows what I'm going thru. He's there each morning with me. Why can't he just say how he feels?? Our friend died in child birth. Is he trying to be strong for me??
We are engaged. It happened b4 the baby.
Is he truly scared or just indifferent??

I think he has said how he feels. He is calm and reassured. I think you need to follow his lead and settle down. Why should he be worried? If you are a strong, healthy woman, then there is no reason to think that you suffer the same fate as your friend. Make sure that you keep your OB appointments, take your vitamins, eat the right foods, don't drink, smoke or take drugs and rest when you feel the need and I am sure that you will have a good, healthy baby. CALM DOWN and enjoy your pregnancy, it's a wonderful time in your life and you should be celebrating not fretting and worrying.

I would say it is very normal to be scared because this is a life altering thing. If your b/f doesnt seem scared it could be because maybe it hasn't sunk in exactly what is happening. Also he may be scared but unsure how to react. I would say you need to sit him down and talk to him.

Relax and enjoy your pregnancy. That is the best thing you can do. Stay positive. It only happens once, that first pregnancy.

Exercise to remain strong and fit. After that, not much can happen.
