Doctor today confirmed tht i m pregnant through my blood test report.But she said me some 6446 code which says tht its early pregnancy stage for which she wanted to do my blood test again within 48 hours? i asked her early pregnancy means what she said that actually for.eg if code is "4" in ur case it should come double "8" but tht parameter hasnt covered and to make sure tht it is good pregnancy she wanna do it within 48 hours of my previous blood test? anyone heard of this such kind ? share someone good experience i m realy worried wht my baby is in good condition or not??????????

Its normal. In pregnancy the levels generally double every one to two days. Dont worry, shes a good Dr to be so on top of things.
To ease your mind, my levels did not double as they were supposed to either. 5 months into the pregnancy, I found out I had twins, and my levels should have been MUCH higher than they were, but they stayed the same. Odd....but healthy.

Hi, first congratulations!!! The doctor is just wanting to confirm your pregnancy. Your HCG level doubles every day, your level should double. Early does not mean your not pregnant, it just means that you are probably a week to 4 weeks pregnant, don't worry!

she's reading your hcg hormones. every day in early pregnancy, the levels of hcg raise until they reach their peak. that's all.
