Sea bands...you can buy them at Wal Mart in the aisle where they sell stuff for motion sickness.

Or since she is throwing up so much, she can get a prescription from the dr once she goes for something that will help her. It will be safe. That is what I had to do with this pregnancy because I started getting sick at 6 weeks and absolutley nothing helped me. With my other pregnancies the things that I put above helped, but this pregnancy for me was much more severe. I hope she starts to feel better soon. Just make sure she talks to her doctor soon, so she can get a break from being sick. Im 23 weeks and still not completely well.

If she is throwing up that much she needs to go to the ob/gyn and even the hospital for fluids, Gatorade is not going to cut it. I see this all the time in the Emergency Room where I work and alot of woman cannot handle pregnancy and throw up the whole time and are in with us getting IV fluids to replenish what they have lost, you have to take into consideration that she is not only depriving herself at this point but the baby as well, and you want her and the baby to stay well hydrated. Get the ob on the phone and ask him/her what they recommend

Sometimes there isn't alot that can help as this will stop after a few weeks, but for me, my Dr told me to stay in bed in the morning and eat some dry crackers like saltines and let them settle down before I ever got out of bed. I did it and I stopped throwing up but it was hard to lay around in bed most of the morning.

I remember those days of the morning sickness - more like all day sickness. Typically this only lasts for the first trimester and sometimes in the beginning of the second trimester. I tried everything when I was experiencing that, but unfortunately there really is not much she can take or do. It is just those good old hormones.

Try a few sips of a regular cola, like Coke. The syrup in it helps with the nausea a little. Be careful drinking too much gatorade... it is full of sodium, and too much sodium can make her body go haywire.

Hopefully it won't last too long. Good luck!

I am 30 weeks and I am one of the lucky pregnant women who has stayed nauseated throughout the entire pregnancy. Nothing helps except PHENERGAN. Its a prescription nausea medicine. My mom said try puttinf 2 saltine crackers beside your bed and before your feet ever hit the floor eat them so you will have something on your stomack. It didn't work for me but maybe it will for you. Don't worry unless she is "lucky"like me it should only last another week or two.

Have your wife try crackers or eating small meals througout the day. This will hopefully helps settle her stomach some. Also drinking a lot of water sometimes helps too.

Man, too bad she doesn't like gingerale. That was my life the first few months I was pregnant because I was so sick haha. Other things that also helped me was eating saltines with peanutbutter on them, or any crackers. Sucking on hard candies, like jolly ranchers, or anything sour, to get her bloodsugar up so she doesn't feel more sick. And also sucking on a mint. I don't even like mints but they really helped me out! Goodluck, hopefully she feels better soon :)

Crackers. Also, tell her to lighten up on what she eats. Try not eating the heavier food and stay with lighter fare. I had trouble digesting red meat when I was pregnant.
