It is very bad for baby. You are NOT supposed to get in whirl pools/hot tubs and baths cannot be hotter than 100 degrees. It will raise your body temp and blood pressure and icrease the babys temp and heartrate.

Really hot baths can raise your core temperature. If your body temp gets around 102 degrees F, the chances that your baby will develop spina bifida are greatly increased. So, hot baths, whirlpools, steam rooms, etc., are a bad idea during pregnancy.

It IS dangerous, especially in the first trimester. Most doctors tell women to stay away from hot tubs, whirl pools and very hot baths.

It could be dangerous to the baby because really hot baths or whirlpools can raise your blood pressure and that is not good for the baby. I would avoid them while I was pregnant, you can enjoy them after the baby arrives, if you can find time!

They say it's dangerous in the beginning. I guess the first trimester. But, I've also heard that we usually don't get into the water if it's too hot for the baby.

It made me really woozy and dizzy to take a hot bath. I would advise you to keep it a little cooler than normal while you are pregnant.

in a heated area your blood rushes to your skin to try and cool you which could very easily leave the baby oxygen starved causing possible brain damage or death.
