I am pregnant at 19 with my b/f's kid. We have been together for four years. He agreed to stay by me. I am really scared and worried. He's calm and reassuring. Is he not worried?? Why?? Is it wrong to be worried?? WHY ISN'T HE WORRIED????????
Why doesn't he just say he's worried?? He knows what I'm going thru. He's there each morning with me. Why can't he just say how he feels?? Our friend died in child birth. Is he trying to be strong for me??
We are engaged. It happened b4 the baby.
Is he truly scared or just indifferent??
We are both very rich-both have rich families supporting us thru this. We have a house. He was the one who wanted to keep the baby. I was unsure and he said to keep it.
Will he accept the child or feel like I ruined his life??

Well, don't be worried too much. Relax and say prayers.

He's not scared because he's not the one who has to go through pregnancy and childbirth - plus your freedom is gone at age 19 his probably isn't. - you will find that what you want at 19 is VERY different than what you want at 29 or 39. -

Death during childbirth is VERY unlikely. You will be fine - just take care of yourself and your baby. Take some time to get some education so you don't have to rely on your parents - having a baby means you are an adult.

IF YOUR ENGAGED WHAT ABOUT MARRIAGE, HE SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT GUY SO TRY NOT TO WORRY SO MUCH, BUT I CAN SEE WHY YOU DO , BECAUSE OF YOUR FRIEND. JUST GO TO THE DR. AND DO WHAT THE DR. SAYS. DEATH DOESN'T HAPPEN VERY OFTEN ANYMORE HERE, MAYBE YOUR FRIEND IS LOOKING OUT FOR YOU AND YOUR CHILD TO KEEP YOU SAFE. WISHING YOU THE BEST.

He's a guy and guys often have trouble expressing emotion. Maybe he isn't worried. Maybe he's excited. Maybe the shock of it hasn't hit him yet. Maybe you should be asking him instead of us.
